I thought It'd be nice try to post as much a of the FÅ book, used by Lukas during the making of the film, as we can find.

With a difference.

Each full page has to be greatly reduced in size to fit here, so what about if we take each pic on its own, and if we post them all here, (I can't find another topic on the book ), then we'll keep them all under one topic.

Here's the first batch so we can see how they turn out...

Sixth pic down shows Lukas with one of Agnes presents: noted in the Swedish script as ''Aladdinask'' i.e. box of chocolates of the brand popular in Sweden.



I don't know why Lukas is grinning. Maybe Agnes Akerblom scoffed them all during rehearsal.

The photos is the FÅ book is actually smaller, so these have an increased size in fact

They're not exactly sharp and clear in the book, and here they're even worse obviously

And Agnes Åkerblom is an error in the film, remember when Rebecka answers the phone she says Ahlberg instead

So it's Agnes Ahlberg, not Agnes Åkerblom.... or vice versa perhaps

I commented on this a while back. All the 'props', like the School Yearbook, would need to have been pre-ordered before shooting the action began. The pictures aren't on screen long enough to notice that both Alex and Bex are sitting in their groups wearing thin indoor cothing, whereas nearly all the others are muffled up against the cold, probably just been bussed-in for the photo shoot. I suspect the Agnes Åkerblom blooper came from provisionally giving that name to the character. Ima guessing they probably found that there was an existing Agnes Åkerblom living in the area, and so changed the character name.

Otherwise the real-life Agnes Åkerblom might have been besieged by waggonloads of admirers and stalkers (not respectable people like us

Yeah, these were from the net.
The pics are pretty much as they were found, not a lot of increase or (mainly) decrease in size. I guess they've been distorted a lot over the years.
If you have clearer ones please share them here.

I heard the Ahlberg/Akerblom story too. (or is it Åkerblom?)

Those posted above came from what was shown as page openings 5, 6, 7 and 8. Those below are from 1 and 2.
I'll post 3 and 4 tomorrow. Does anyone have any more because 1-8 are all I've got?

I didn't say you increased the photos size, Fish

And obviously they're less clear because they were re-sized by whoever put them on the net

As I said the photos in the actual FÅ book is smaller and therefore a bit clearer (but still poor quality)

I can't upload them though since I don't have a scanner

Pretty good quality though, to say they're b&w and have been blown up. Not too shabby at all.

Of course I have the book

The photos in the book is not exactly "better" than these though

The person who uploaded these probably did the right thing to re-size them, otherwise they'd have been too small to publish on the net

And btw, I suspect most of these photos were taken with just a simple snapshot camera, not a high quality camera

That's probably why they were never published in colour and a bigger size

You're right about the camare I think, most likely just a cheap Polaroid.

Despite the poor quality of the pics it's a historical piece that should be featured on the forum.

It rather boggles me that it was black and white, though. In 1998?!?!!?

We had cheap crap Polaroid cameras in the early 80s, and even THEY were in colour!
