I can remember when Foreignfilms.com was up and running, we tried to get it into the top 10 World films on there, but unfortunatley we couldnt as we didnt have the force to do it

We did get it into the top 3 for the Swedish section though

Which was nice

I think we should keep US votes seperate from european votes --> In my opinion i think that the majority of US voters don't have the mental capacity to deal with emotion like that, just take 'Lost and Delirious' for example, it was released into europe without even being rated in the USA.

Love stories are great, but so few of them are "credible". Very often there is little or no chemistry between the actors, so we don't actually believe or "feel" that they are in love for real. That's where FÅ is so brilliant. I don't care about it being lesbian love, that's not what makes the movie so great, it's that it feels so "real". The credit for this should be shared between Moodysson's writing and directing and Alexandra and Rebecka's brilliant acting.

OK, you might want to know that FA is on the 268th place. Which isn't bad, especially when you cross out some of the movies that have spawned in Top250 god knows how....

if you really want to help FA on imdb you have to vote regulary(as only regulary voters are counted for the top250)
i'm voting every movie i watch and hope it helps

Personally I don't see the point in voting: I know it's great, and thats all that matters

Unfortunately FÅ is not in the top 250 anymore. At least not at the time, I looked.

i guess if it's in, some jerks will vote it with 1 to keep it out again
some guys, hating lesbians and that stuff
just look at the vote-statistics:
us-voters voted with 6.7
and non-us-voters with 8.2
it think that tells everything...

of course it does, americans can't appreciate art, because that's simply what it is!
