Yes, I love it. Elin and Jessica have DiCaprio on their wall and Agnes has Humphrey Bogart! Or is it maybe because of Ingrid Bergman? Here's Ingrid at age 14. Is it just me or is there a resemblance to Elin? Imagine the hair a bit messier...

Agnes also has a poster for ''Romeo + Juliet'', several photos including Bob Hund, and Morrissey of Smiths note, and also, somewhat anachronistically, a still pic of Oson Welles in the film ''A Touch of Evil''. I think there was more than a little projection of Lukas onto the Agnes character.

Yes I'd acted like Lukas, it's naturally that director or scenarist would want adapt a piece of ''self'' to characters. :)

More than a passing resemblance to Bex too I think. Especially 'round the mouth.

I'm running out of these little gifs. Trying desperately to either find more or learn to make my own.
Classic "fail" so far. :(

Taking a crack at an animation. Bear with me if it doesn't work.

Lovely one Hermes, errr, does my bum look big in this? *:)*

I need to w*rk out how to get rid of the black bands top and bottom. Other than that I'm fairly pleased with this first effort.
What do you think? *:|*

The hardest part seems to be converting all these obscure movie files I have to ones that the gifmaker will recognise.

Ohhh how I love Bex's facial expressions. She says so much with no words. No histrionic embraces here, no saccharine music. They express their love with shy mumbles and silent nods of the head, as real teenagers would. Perfect! *:)*

You're way ahead of me, fish. GIMP for linux won't accept videos in any format, though it's supposed to. For Alex's rearview gif, I did screenshots one at a time to create the layers. A time consuming photoshoot, but my model was a real trooper! :D

You must have tons of patience. 8)

For the "Are you?" gif I used "You Tube Downloader and Converter" to turn the YT vid into a .wmv file and then used "Evan's Web Site" http://evanolds.com/movtogif.html to extract the bit I wanted and turn it into a gif. Seemed to w*rk OK but I'd like to be able to edit it a bit more.

I made this Alex gif using a Quicktime .mov file I had saved on my HD and Evans Site's gif maker, just as a test.
I should have made the pic smaller 'cause it turned out to be around 4mg file size. (It also made it hard to see exactly where I was starting and finishing the gif. )

PS. The Evans Site gif maker is not a download to your PC.
You can just make the page a "favourite" and "run" the gifmaker anytime you want to make one.

Not that I would know anything about the art of crafting GIFs... but do you have The GIMP Animation Package installed?

Just tested, and I could extract bunch of frames from Broder Daniel vid (.mp4) that was downloaded from Youtube.

Yes, but I'm using the linux version, which is fussy. Anyway, it works now.
