I'm not how many of you have seen this on wikipedia, but I thought I'd share this with you. I think it's really cool! I mean, to see that it's mentioned on the Show Me Love (song) wikipedia page. :)

That is cool. Nice to see that the film over which we obsess just keeps cropping up in so many places and after so many years.
Sort of reaffirms my belief that we can't all be crazy. :T

Just found this little nugget. Relatively RECENT and broadly sympathetic and intelligent views on SML/FA. :Y

Very nice review. Liked the comments too. Seems when it comes to this film there are like minded people all over the place. :D

I found this article which I thought was pretty interesting.

L.A. Weekly Film Critics guide to the best of Outfest's closing weekend, published on July 15 2009.

SHOW ME LOVE (Sweden)
It feels like cheating to shout about a film that’s 10 years old, but Show Me Love is, as it was in 1998, an Outfest gem. Screening as part of a 20th anniversary salute to the brave and important distributor Strand Releasing, this story of two Swedish teenage girls (Rebecka Liljeberg and Alexandra Dahlstrom) in love is quirky one minute and mean the next, and as such is utterly true to the abrupt highs and lows of being a teen — gay, straight or otherwise. For his first film, writer-director Lukas Moodysson (Lilya-4-Ever, Together) made a movie that famously outgrossed Titanic on its native turf, and which lives long in one’s memory — now, 10 years from now, and forever. (DGA, Fri., July 17, 9:45 p.m.) (CW)

I keep seeing this pop up (not litterally) as I do my daily searches. I can't read (that well) what it says on this. Would someone translate?

Can't seem to get the graphic now, but did see it for long enough to read. Looks German rather than Swedish.
Something about a Tuesday evening presentation in a school hall on Pestalozzi Street in Wertingen would be my best guess.

Yes it's german, but I know some german and it says:

Evening performance on tuesday july 22 2008, at 7.30 pm, in the gymnasium hall, free entrance

For stupid people like Ian; the sentence between 'gymnasium hall' and 'free entrance' is the german address.

It's probably that live performance of FÅ that's been shown in Germany for some years.

Do you know if there's a script for it available?

It's tough making a transition from screen to theatre but I could see this being done in a minimalist setting.

I want to propose it to the Church Youth Amateur Dramatic Society as their next production.

This is on condition that I direct, and get to play the part of Elin of course. *:)*

I will also cast and have to have lots and lots of auditions for all the wannabe girls who want to play Agnes :)P

I didn't even realise there was a live performance of FÅ, let alone one that's still going on. Are there any other details, reviews, cast members, etc?

Can I volunteer my services as producer, or at least close personal assistant? :Y

In some cultures it is considered unwise to call the moderator stupid.
