There are 'add subtitles' software packages you can download for free. I tried having a go at one of the Rebecka interviews that we've got the translation for and gave up after 3 hours with a splitting headache.

A rocket science degree would be helpful, I suspect!

Does anyone know where clips of all of Alexandra's appearances on Good Times, Bad Times are posted?
I'm pretty sure I've seen them all together on some site or other, but I've lost track of where and I'd like to burn them onto a dvd to watch on the telly.

The only one I know of is the good ol' Y of T. I'm not aware of anywhere else.

Anyone..?

I have about a half dozen saved from "the good ol' Y of T" but I'd like to find any others if I can. Hopefully with high quality visuals as well, as regular clips aren't that good after the conversion and burning processes.

I was pretty sure I'd seen them somewhere else though, so if anyone can provide a link it seems we'd all appreciate it. :D

my favourite others films starting with Rebecka are - 1. Bear´s Kiss 2. Sherdile ( ofcourse FA is the best of, but BK I like to :) There are fantastic scenic´s music and I really like magic-realism in the film :) ) and then I saw Sherdil, but I think about it that it´s bit simplicity and for low viewers, but song ''Like a fish of the sea'' it´s the best song of this movie and one of the few positives - other music is horrible - disrupts scenes of the film ) And 3. Narkontakt. Well this all what I saw with Bex. With Alex I saw only FA. I would see some next movie with her, but I havn´t more time....I hope that sometime it´ll posibility :)

There isn't much choice as far as Rebecka's films are concerned, is there?
But I like Bear's Kiss, Sherdil and Närkontakt as well.
Bear's Kiss because she's in it so much and the photography is beautiful, while Sherdil is a cute young girls' film with lots of Rebecka too. Närkontakt is a nice little short film, again with lots of Rebecka.

To my way of thinking "lots of Rebecka" seems to be the formula for a good film.   :T

It's the perfect recipe for me too. :D

I guess we just have to appreciate what we have.

Mmmm looks that way. It's just dream moments captured in time. :)

I always agonise over this. It's so ironic. :|

Ima very pleased that Rebecka has become a doctor, and doubtless performs individual miracles of medical science with young people on a daily basis. :Y

There is always, however, a constituency of young people who saw, still see her, as an icon of what could be possible, given some internal strength.

She has probably, helped countless more young people face their problems with fortitude, as an actor and role model, than she could ever achieve as a doctor. :T

So, no telling. O-)

I haven't broadcast it on here before, but to be fair to Bex, I know that, behind the scenes, she is still very active in promotion of youth and feminist issues. 8)

Two of Rebecka's newspaper articles on this page [and some other interesting stuff].

I wonder if the newspaper archives still have the rest of her columns?
