So what's your favourite 'other' Rebecka or Alex film? (We'll forget Manana for the moment, since no one seems to have seen it yet!)

Choices are Sherdil, Truth or Dare, In Bed With Santa, Bear's Kiss and Froken Sverige.

Haven't seen TOD yet, and I sadly thought IBWS was rubbish (not even worth it for Alex, since she's in it so little). Aww, sorry Alex. Still love you, really. Still, I may yet love Manana!

Not that big a selection from which to choose, unfortunately, but I'd have to rate Fröken Sverige #1, Bear's Kiss #2 and Sherdil #3.

I'd also like to throw in Som kärlek fast på riktigt! because It's really cute, but only as #4 'cause it's such a short film.

My Swedish sucks, I presume you mean Like Love, Only Real? Yeah, that was good.

I wasn't overly keen on Froken Sverige, Got better in the second half, but I preferred the others.Sherdil was a thoroughly enjoyable family movie, and while BK was flawed, it's beautifully shot (the cinematography is gorgeous) and I like it's general weirdness!

Manana looks funny, I'm hoping I'll like it more.

I loved the second half of Fröken Sverige too, revenge then a life of her own, but I felt it was essential to see the extent of Moa's degradation to put everything in context.

Sherdil I agree with you here, maybe it'll climb the list when I can get my grubby little mits on a proper bought copy.

Bear's kiss I loved. I was prepared to forgive the late Sergei Jnr because it was Rebecka's film and she just picked it up in her beautiful hands and carried it throughout. What a talent.

Can't wait for Mañana. Everything I've seen points to a winner.

Me too. Be nice if it's an early release onto dvd though, AND we can find it here.

I take your point. If it wasn't for the Rebecka factor I don't think anyone here would have bothered with it.

True enough, but you could say the same about any of them! At the end of the day, it was still a good film, I thought. Whereas, Alex or no Alex, IBWS was just plain crap!

IBWS haven't even bothered to see, and yet I still agree. (Poet. Know it.)

In Bed With Santa sounds like fun don't know what the film is like though. I thought Sherdil was sweet, it's about on my intellectual level
