Got to say I was really shocked to find out over the last few weeks, she's happily settled down, with a few kids and a good Job . Seems the acting lark wasn't for her. Pity as she was the one I was at least expecting to have the bigger career in film then Alexandra. She was the main reason I fell in love with Fucking Amal, she's soooooooooo sexy in that . I think one flaw of the film was trying to buy Rebecka as someone who would be unpopular in school. most guys and girls would be trying to score with her in real life . But her performance is one of the reasons you do ignore that fact, you feel her pain. All acted with her eyes, brilliant performance.

WAs the reunion with Alexandra at the film festival a few years back, the last time she was seen in public then?

There's been a couple of TV talk show interviews and such like over the last few years. (Links are on here somewhere.)
Seems like nobody wants her to completely forget Fucking Åmål.

But she did do what she said she was going to.
She went back to school, then uni at Karolinska teaching hospital studying medicine.
And now she's a doctor, still based as far as I know in the emergency dept. at Södersjukhuset.

All that while having three kids (Teodor, Vera & Kerstin) with her partner Alex Skepp.

We all hold out hope for a return to the public eye, but I think she's very content living the life she chose.

Thanks Fish for the details . It's very interesting to see she's gone onto a far more interesting and content life for herself and she had it planned out since a young age. Mr Skepp is a lucky fellow indeed and doesn't need to dream .
As I said before on the forum it be nice if they do ever get around to doing extra's for a new DVD or Blu Ray release of Fucking Amal that at least Rebecka could be involved and talk about her new life as a doctor, it be mighty interesting.
