It would indeed be very interesting to hear Becca talk about her life as a doctor, but I don't think a dvd/br extra's would be the right platform for that topic.
If they were to give a commantary on a new release, they probably would talk exclusively about the experience of the film, retrospective and such, which would be interesting enough as well.

I think there were extras on the Swedish release, but I have no idea what they were.
Someone must know though.
Love to get it, especially if a Bex/Lex interview was included. *:)*

I think a catch up with some of the cast on what they are doing now would be a good platform seen as none of them have been in anything big since. Oh any kind of new DVD extra's would be nice cause even die hard fan's find it hard to know what many of the cast are up to these days. A retrospective and Commentary are a must, I take that over anything right now as extra's. I'd have three commentaries ( one with Moodysson, one with Rebecka/Alexandra and another with the supporting cast) and then a retrospective documentary. Seen as the film was a big hit in Sweden I'm really surprised they don't give a proper DvD treatment to one of their greatest films.

There is?

I might be wrong, but I think the swedish release is pretty much the same as the norwegian one I have, and the only extras is a commentary with Lukas.

None of my copies even has the Lukas commentary, though I suppose that would be of little use outside Sweden anyway. :roll:

OK Dahls, your next mission, (should you choose to accept it), is to visit Lukas, Bex and Lex and arrange our dream list of extras for the Blu-ray re-release.

It is a little bizarre, isn't it? Multiple award-winning and massive box office hit. 16 years old is irrelevant when it comes to home releases, you'd think it'd be a shoe-in for a Blu-ray special edition. It would be for a massively successful award-winner from most countries!
