My mom had laser surgery a few years ago too.
It improved her vision without glasses, but got slightly worse with them.

Broke even I guess.

In pretty basic terms, my eye gets sliced open, the lens gets dragged out and replaced by a bit of plastic. :shock:

Sounds simple, eh?
Oh, and I also get to play "pirate" for a day. *:)*

What could possibly go wrong?

Yeah, that's pretty much what my parents had. I wouldn't worry about it, fish, though I know it's easier said than done. It's pretty routine these days though.

Dahls, you think maybe she needed a new prescription to compensate for her different eyesight?! :lol:

Before the operation she couldn't walk from room to room without hitting the wall when not wearing specs, now she can.
Although on a regular basis, glasses are still necessary, and with a increased strenght.

You could say it was semi-successful.

The eyes are complicated instruments. :wink:

I'm sure it'll all turn out fine.
I even went for a drive out to the hospital yesterday just to make sure I could find it ok.

Bex hasn't arrived yet.
