Each state seems to have an enclave or two.
Lots in Queensland from the Gold Coast up to Cairns.
Don't know how they can afford to live up there though.

Born and raised in Australia I have no experience of this "White Christmas" of which you speak.
Although I did spend a very cold Christmas in Tasmania some years ago when snow fell up in the high country.

Sometimes you just need to dress to keep warm I guess.
