Started House season 4. Still think this is where they started making colossal mistakes with the show (don't even get me started on the treatment of Jennifer Morrison) but it's still entertaining enough at this point.

X Files: EBE. Mulder and Scully chase a truck that may contain a captured live alien across the country. This is a wonderfully paranoid little episode that introduces the Lone Gunmen for the first time. Love Scully, in the midst of a rant about how their paranoia makes them feel important, finding a monitoring device in her pen!

Doctor Who - Mawdryn Undead. Still a very enjoyable story and a good start to the Black Guardian trilogy, with the introduction of Turlough and the re-introduction of the Brigadier. :D

Sons and Daughters. Even someone trying to off him hasn't slowed Wayne down, as he tries to blackmail Susan into giving him all her money or he'll tell the cops that her mum shot him!
That said, I was surprised but quite pleased that Gordon pointed out that Wayne has gotten worse since finding out several months ago that he could have the Huntingdon's gene, which would result him in having an agonising death possibly as early as in his mid30s. I'm glad I wasn't the only one to notice! Wayne has always been a bugger but since then he's gotten way more extreme than he once was.

Criminal Minds. When two teenage sisters disappear from their home exactly a year after the same thing happened to their mother, the alcoholic father is again the prime suspect. Has he slowly but surely murdered his entire family? When the father's blackouts turn out to be caused not by booze but Multiple Personality Disorder, the evidence against him seems utterly damning... or is that just what someone wants them to think? This cracking episode is one of the best of the current season. Gripping and genuinely disturbing.

Doctor Who - Terminus. Watchable and well written and acted for the most part, but just a teensy weensy bit dull.

Re-watching all of the last Doctor Who series after w*rking out the secret about Clara.
Suddenly it's making a lot more sense. *:)*

Saw Enlightenment again last night. A fine conclusion to the Black Guardian trilogy, and a really good story in its own right. Wonderful, understatedly creepy guest turns from Keith Barron and Christopher Brown and some real imagination. The scenes "on deck" are really well done and stonkingly surreal.

Copped an episode of The Returned [Les Revenants] while at the folks', and it was quite as good [especially on their big TV] as the buzz about it had led me to hope. Possibly a bit fruity for watching with your Ma, but hey, I'm all grown up now...

Recommended - I will be buying/hiring a DVD as soon as I can.

Only one thing puzzles me; why isn't l'Acquart Glorieuse in it? :?

Looks promising.

Somehow it manages to be excellent anyway; but it still seems a waste of a perfectly good Acquart, to me. *:|*

Things happened and I didn't get to watch it last night, so I'm afraid it's now been placed on my "must watch" list.
Hope to get to it very soon.

There are whole episodes up on YT, I watched S1 E1&2 last night and was up 'til nearly 3am...uuurgh. Paying for it this morning.

I doubt you'll be disappointed. It's very cleverly and subtly done; minimal or no CGI, character-driven, believable and realistic as all get-out.
