Nice work, Wyrd Fishes! These are from the Chant des Sirenes thing, right? I get the feeling it was a very different experience to working with Celine Sciamma.
[That's a dangerous-looking raised eyebrow in the first one, eh...someone's in trouble there.]
This thread has garnered 1000 views in six or seven weeks - the net is hungry for more of l'Acquart, it seems.

I still have more research to do on Sirens Song, but all three of those "green T-shirt" pics are supposedly from that film.
I guess at only 30 mins duration there's not all that much time to change.
I know nothing of the context for this pic.

But I'm trying to find out.

And who wouldn't be hungry for more of L'Acquart?

Someone once said of Christina Ricci [as Wednesday Addams] that she had a 'truck-stopping gaze'...I think this is doubly true of Mlle. Pauline, even in a fuzzy shot.

Or Amelia. Or Emma.
I have even less.

Nice to see a mature image of Pauline.
But another gloomy role...? Tch. Typecasting!
This girl could do comedy just as well as tragedy, I reckon.

I gather it's a tale of small-town intrigue and gossip centring on the arrival of a handsome young doctor. Alas, it doesn't seem to have been slated for mass distribution.

Only one ignorant of her existence.

Sadly that seems to be the case with so many European films.
If it isn't in English there's a huge reluctance on the part of English speaking distributors to take it on.
And a large part of the world misses out. Again.

Pensive Pauline.
Still lovely however.

Found her
almost smiling in this one from "Les Lendemains Nanou" in 2011.

I suspect, from that one, that Mlle. Acquart is in possession of a dry sense of humour. The expressions 'actrice' and 'comedienne' both seem to mean 'actor' in French, which led to a certain amount of mild bemusement at first.

Must be confusing for anyone who only gets sombre roles.
Another on the set of "Les Lendemains Nanou".

Looks like a cold morning's shoot...bless.
Don't take the ciggie, Pauline!
