Yes. I should have :( , and she does. :Y
One of these days it'll be on the net again worldwide,
and the dvd will become available for sale,
and your mate will come through with his downloaded copy,
and I'll win a trip to Paris to see it live.
And it'll probably all happen on the same day. :T

L'Acquart le bleu.

Ah yes, little Marie...both rather alarming and ineffably cute.

I'm trying not to post any more NdPix, though, the Net seems rather fixated on the 15-year-old Pauline, which is a pity when l'Acquart Moderne is so willowy and elegant.

If only "l'Aquart Moderne" was a bit more accessible to us mere mortals. :(

Hope to find more time to have a look for her over the weekend, but until then I'm stuck with l'Acquart la rouge. *:)*

Aye,if only...but we know that celebrity is a huge PITA as well as having whatever benefits, and so we really shouldn't begrudge the girl some measure of privacy.

I rather like it, in the context of the desperate, attention-hungry, fame-whore 'culture' spawned by the likes of Big Brother and X-Factor et al., that there are still people [like Acquart] who manage to maintain a little dignity and reserve, and let their work speak for them [it seems PAB has only ever done one, very short, interview]...I just wish artmedia would be a bit more proactive in the matter of recent pix!

The 30,000th view of our little fan thread, today, would seem to indicate that quite a few others feel the same. 8)

Let's just make that the 33,000th, eh?
(Yeah, I know, a typo. But I don't get this chance very often. :P  )

Instagrim was decidedly void of anything Acquart related that I could access.

Keeping a low profile I guess.

   Oh dear. "Low profile". And she's kneeling down.

Oh forget it.
It's been a long day. :T

Desperate for something new and the free time to find it.
Here's hoping the coming week will be kinder than the last.

Not yet it hasn't.
But I've seen some glowing words about Blanche Neige on the Salzburg Fest site. *:)*
"Once upon a time, there were a king and queen whose greatest wish was to have a child. After a year, they had a daughter: Snow White – her skin white as snow, her lips as red as blood and her hair black as ebony. Stage director Nicolas Liautard creates a poetic re-interpretation of the Brothers Grimm’s fairy-tale, a sequence of living pictures in which body language, light effects and scenery meld into one magical experience, stimulating the imagination of young and old viewers. Snow White, who lives in an eerie and silent world of images, will make an unforgettable impression on children aged 7 and up and adults. There will be no language barriers – this image-rich performance needs no words!"

€35 for adults, €20 for kids & teenagers.
Is that expensive? :?

Small mercies.
Grateful. :Y

Yes...but I'd pay it to see l'Acquart in live performance.

Nice pic; expect to see it cropped and resized soonish.

Can't be the "vacuum cleaner" scene.
She's reaching way too high for that.

One of the few Blanche Neige pics I hadn't seen before.
The Salzburg site seems to have gone out of it's way to use some larger and clearer pics.
Maybe to make up for the gauze curtain a bit.
Well done Salzburg. *:)*

Image

I'd pay it too.
It's only the fare to get to the theatre that worries me. :|

Ho hum. Just have to stoop to a damnable re-post, then.

Maybe it'll cycle properly this time...

Ahh good. SpectralAcquart. Burn a hole in the screen, Pauline!

Lovely (re)post.
Always liked what you did with that one. Image

The Salzburg version of a re-post. Image

Let's see now.
Blanche Neige seems to be on the 15th, 17th and 18th of August at Salzburg, then it's pretty much straight into Parenthèse 2 filming with M. Tanguy.
Busy couple of weeks for la belle Acquart, methinks. *:)*

What are the odds that Salzburg will be the same as every other place where Blanche Neige is staged in as much as the press will completely ignore this wonderful show just because it fits into the niche of "children's entertainment".
Have they no pity on us? :T
We'll find out in a week or so I guess.
