Well, she's not some Barbie-doll [c] or Disney [tm] figure that has to be happy happy happy all the god damn time , but if you mean this in the sense of "I really hope PAB is happier in her daily life than she looks in most of the pics", I can certainly agree.

It occurs to me that NdP was, at least in part, about the Problem of Beauty, and la Bourka's evident ambivalence towards the camera may well have something to do with her share of that most interesting Problem.
