Au Septieme Jour - a great little tragedy, l'Acquart [at about 17] is totally different from her NdP gamine persona, already the young woman we see today

[...wish it had subs though]

That really makes the difference, doesn't it.
Understanding what's being said. :|

Certainly helps in the enjoyment, although there's a certain perverse pleasure in forcing yourself to learn a little French, Swedish, Portuguese, etc., etc. :T

I had a peek back there today and it had been removed. :(
Something not nice is going on. :x

"a great little tragedy" Reminded me how adorable she was in that little hat.
I want one.
(Yeah, OK. The hat too.) :P

Hope she got to keep the hat after the film - an inspired costume choice, I thought.

The Acquaradorability factor is indeed very high; director and camera were evidently aware what a treasure they had.

Very very tragic though, can't watch it too often.

What I would really like to do is watch it with Matthieu, my French doctor friend, and get him to translate the dialogue, so I could compile a .srt subtitle file.

Yeah.
Hard to watch knowing the ending and not knowing what's being said.

Subtitles and I'll watch it again though. :Y

Tell Matthieu there's a little red(ish) hat in it for him. :P

L'Acquart Glorieuse et plus poignant!

An alarming, deeply-felt portrayal of suicidal alienation and depression.

Stumbled upon a cache of Un Coeur Sauvage pics today.
Some we've seen, some not.
Some are very similar to others but taken on a different night.
Some are good, some are not, and a few are downright gorgeous. *:)*

Given around a month, I'll post the lot.

L'Acquart the little trend setter. *:)*
Bastien Gabriel has now left the Un Coeur Trilogy too, being replaced by Morgan Malet.
