I have a feeling that the "schooling" thing is legit.
An effort to qualify herself for a long career in film and stage.
We have much to look forward to as we impatiently wait. *:)*

Including gorgeous little smiles like this. :D

Oh, for sure, and a very sensible thing too.

It'll be artmedia who are presumably uh looking after her PR. :|

Off course, any career is boosted by a little education, however the necessity.
It builds both character and confidence, a positive luggage needed through the steps of life.
Especially on the latter.

I'm [almost] certain we will see more of Pauline in the film buisness in the future, low profile or not. :)
At least I hope so.

I'm absolutely sure we will.
It's just a matter of time. *:)*
(Maybe I'll even be able to track her down sooner.) 8)

Beautifully sad again.
Maybe she has doubts about Henri's intentions.

But not yet apparently. :(

76K and I almost missed it.
The views are just flying by. 8)

Although Henriette's mood doesn't seem to have improved. :( :P

Oh my; L'Acquart Glorieuse et Mysterieuse!

We need a new adjective... _O_

Sterling work as usual, M. Poisson. I'm going to have to find another means of posting pix here, since Imageshack have decided to play it clever. *:|*

Off to my Ma's again today, though, so my sister can [also] have a weekend away. Speakcha spoon!

The bastards will do that to you. :x
There have to be better, (and freer), ones out there.

Towards the end now and Henriette is married, not to Henri, but to that wimpy doormat Léon. :r
She picnics with him at the same spot where she and Henri made love.
(Think I know where her heart is.)

It's obvious she misses Henri, but unbeknownst to Henriette, he has been trying to find her and has also returned to the picnic ground. :Y

But this, being a 19th century story, has no obvious happy ending.
Their eyes meet, but Henriette accepts that it can never be. :(
(unless of course there's a sequel. *:)* )

The End

"Une Partie de Campagne", was part of the third season of the Chez Maupassant series and aired on French TV in 2011.
The dvd was purchased from a seller on Ebay France and although there are no subtitles I think it's well worth the effort to view. *:)*

Yes, for some reason Henri assumes Henriette will still be available, and that he can further their acquaintance, so curtly dismissing the cynical mockery of his fellow Lothario, he goes in search of her...whereupon Fate smacks him around the head with a 2x4, as Fishy notes above. It's a morality tale really, 'thus perish all seducers', thought of sing.

English subtitles would indeed be wonderful; but since this is French TV, they are only in French. Still useful to those like myself who have a sub-conversational modicum of that language, though, and l'Acquart G et M is highly watchable as always.

Hi Dave. :W
Feels strange being here with no pic to post, but given that for some reason I can't see any of the previous pics I posted, anywhere, there's nothing much lost.

Can you see all of the pics?

I don't mean to sound paranoid but someone (Imageshack?) seems to be picking on me today. :(
