Hopefully people are still getting into NdP...it does get tedious, though, when that's almost all you see.

Very, but I guess the odd jewel here and there makes up for it.

Tiring for some though.

News today....
Émilie Deleuze tourne "Jamais contente"
http://www.agatfilmsetcie.com/news.php?num_actualite=157
Among the cast are "Léna Magnien entourée de Patricia Mazuy, Philippe Duquesne, Pauline Acquart, Tessa Blandin, Raphaëlle Doyle et Alex Lutz."
So recent I haven't even had the chance to research it thoroughly but hopefully (much) more will turn up in the next few days. *:)*

In case nobody realised it, these are pics from the film "Les Lendemains". :P

Nobody looks like Acquart, she's a one-off.

L'Acquart Extraordinaire!

Trust me, I know.

I wouldn't dare call me number one fan of anyone (what do I know about whose fanship is greater?). But, being a fan is a justification, isn't it? Like "for the fan thread of you"...

She said the festival was a really big deal in the town as well as the surrounding area.
Spoke very highly of it.

Yes, it is. I recall that the importance of the festival roots in the artistic liberty, which France is proud of. Did your relative like her stay in a French University?

What did you think of Les lendemains by the way?

Missed the Google topic, but I have a lot to say (or to spit in their face, depends how you put it). All these big corporations are the same, they don't ever listen to user's feedback and keep sabotaging their own creations (Microsoft, Facebook, Google I'm looking at you).

Yes, she loved it.
She thought it was all over too soon.

I enjoyed "Les Lendemains" even though there are no sub-titles and my French is terrible.
I could follow the story easily enough and Pauline was beautiful so I've been very happy buying it.
I'll need to watch it a few more times though to pick up on the finer detail. :D

Nanou isn't very happy today.
Audrey has come to visit and I think Nanou's trying to hide something.

"Jamais Contente"
All I've been able to find out so far is that it's a full length film. 8)

Good. I assume it is mostly a good experience overall, with the new friends, strange habits, fresh administration problems...

Well, on the site it says that it will come soon on DVD (which is late after the theater run). I may pick it if I find it. And so there could be subtitles (but I don't know about English subs).

I think I know what it is  ( :P ).

About "Jamais contente". It is the first in a trilogy of books ("Le journal d'Aurore") written by Marie Desplechin. It deals with a 13 years old girl, Aurore, who is writing a journal about her life and her spooky (I think) family. I read in reviews that it is light, funny, and somewhat cynical.

It sounds very good.
I only hope I'll be able to find it when details/clips/DVD are released. *:)*
So far though, hardly anything. *:|*

It could've been worse, I suppose -

Audrey (or rather Fish) could've wrote:"Well, I'm glad it wasn't one of those creepy old guys over at the Forum."
