Well, in Eden Lake, it's some psychotic teenagers hunting down a couple of adults. In Hard Target, it's a bunch of mercenaries hunting down Jean-Claude Van Damme  . Damn good action movie.
I've read some reviews for La lisière and they appear to agree that it's terminally paced and wannabe auteur. I'm not going to judge though.

It would have been better if Pauline was in the foreground much more, but sadly she just hangs around with most of the others in the background.
What a waste. *:|*

Some just don't know what they have when it's right in front of them.
Still waiting to see PAB in the feature film leading role she deserves. *:|*

We're all being remarkably patient waiting for "Billionaire" which would seem to fit the bill.
Feature film, leading role, playing opposite the Devil.
I just hope it's as good as it promises and that it brings a great boost to Pauline's career. *:)*

It's an audacious and original concept, and it's got la FAB in it as a lead...what can possibly go wrong?

Seriously, though, I do think this could be l'Acquart G's breakthrough performance.

At least, I really hope so...

My view precisely. *:)*

Jamais Contente has to our fall back option though.
But there's very little about it anywhere.

This is the only pic I've seen, and there's no Pauline in it. :x

And here's a brief synopsis.

"JAMAIS CONTENTE by Émilie Deleuze, producer: EAVE group leader Patrick Sobelman is in post-production. The plot revolves around Aurore, a teenage girl. Some might say that she leads a simple life. But when you’re 13 years old and, like her, your perspective on boys, school, your family and your mates is simultaneously uncompromising and brimming with ridicule, everything begins to take on the guise of a blissful psychodrama. Especially with the arrival of a new French teacher, the threat of ending up in a boarding school, the fact that you repeatedly fall head over heels in love and you have the crazy idea of going on stage to be the singer in a group. Having been pre-purchased by Canal+ and OCS the feature is also benefiting from the support of the Ile-de-France region, and the Cinémage, Soficinetv and La Banque Postale Image Soficas."

Don't even know what Pauline's role is. Mean to say. Image

Haven't forgot about Billionaire, I think as well this can be a splendid role for Pauline.

...But more of a indie film rather than a breakthrough though.
Hope I'm wrong, of course, but I always enjoy the "indies" rather than commercial feature films.

Yeah, me too.
The major studios no doubt do some great w*rk but much of the rest is very formulaic.
I think Billionaire is nowhere near that formula, and it's by a smaller studio.
Looookin' good. *:)* :D

She's got the gloomy days of autumn to look forward for.
Has its charm as well, though.

I suppose that's the the downside of the weather getting warmer here. :(
But then, that would appear to only be a problem for those living north of the equator eh? :P

Waiting for me on Facbok today. *:)*

Of course, any Acquart smile is welcome, but here she could easily look rather like Cruella de Ville [tm] contemplating a fresh batch of Dalmatian puppies... ...I wonder what the context of the scene is. Anyone seen the film?
