Thanks, fish. Of course I like them, gifs gave the topic a second breath, while waiting for new material. This one though contains some frames from the following scene that distract from the main movement.

Does Les lendemains have a closed story regarding Acquart's character? It seemed to me (from some reviews) that it portrayed two parallel destinies, with Acquart's character as the anchor for the other girl.

I was done in literally 5 minutes with zero time spent editing the clip I made.

Pauline's character "Nanou" is very much in a supporting role to Pauline Parigot's "Audrey".
She's a close friend at the beginning but does not join in Audrey's rebellious times, yet she's still there to support Audrey when her life goes pear shaped at the end.
And throughout the film you still get to see that Nanou has a life of her own.

But.... There are no sub-titles and my French is somewhere between poor and non-existent, so that's just my understanding of what it was all about.

But.... I did enjoy watching it, trying to follow the intricacies of the story, and, Pauline is beautiful.



My only problem with these gifs is that they're not in HD.
The dvd is, but something must be going on in the VLC save which reduces the definition.
Anyone have any clues to overcome this?

Try "Free Youtube download" from DVDVideoSoft, it's fairly efficient.

Thanks, I now want to see it . I think one day it will come out officially on DVD, maybe then will there be subtitles...
