None of us has noticed that this thread has recently gone zooming past the 170,000 mark...[or did we?]

The real puzzle, to me anyway, is that so few of the lurkers responsible for these statistics [besides Owen, obviously 8) ] join in here...in a similar vein, it appears that only 1:10,000 of those who take advantage of the free/open source/donationware facilities available under the Linux operating system ever contribute *anything at all*, financially, to those who so generously offer their services...a rather sad reflection on our current collective level of consciousness, I think.

this is it filming is finished, we are very happy, the team were very friendly and respectful of actors who have given themselves fully.
Now remains to rediscover the rushes to begin editing from Thursday.
Soon for other news"

Good news! So she wasn't having holidays in some sunny country with the money (just kidding, but look at scams as the infamous Scribble Pen (google it ) ).
I'm actually thrilled about this short.

fish wrote:Yeah. I didn't think the look in the interview at the end of Blanche Neige was very flattering either.

Interview? What interview? What was it about? I seem to have missed (or forgotten) this.

fish wrote:"La bande à Juliette" has been selected "in competition" at the Côté Court Film Festival from 15th to 25th June at Pantin in the N.E of Paris.
One of only 29 films selected out of around 1300 nominated.

That's good, but does it still meet the criteria of a "short" film? Well, why not after all :P . And the fan dance is appealing.

I agree, and even those who were occasionally coming (Dahls, Santi?) do not anymore (or am I missing something?).

Zooom!!!!
What was that?

Owen wrote:...does it still meet the criteria of a "short" film?..

Good point.
The previous festival was for medium length films.
I just hope I can buy a copy at some stage, (soon). *:)*

DMt. wrote:...collective level of consciousness...

Another good point.
I've noticed Santi logged in regularly but he hasn't said anything for a while.
Even if you just say "Hi" it would be great to hear from you again Santi. :D
Same with Dahls, except that I haven't noticed him logged in.
Love to hear from you again Dahls, if you're still visiting. :Y
And, the same with all the others, current members or not, I'm sure we'd all love to hear from you. *:)*

Owen wrote:Interview? What interview?

Sort of a "behind the scenes", "how it was made" kind of thing on my dvd, which I think I bought direct from Axe-Sud Productions.
The whole thing is/was on YTube a while ago too, but I've no idea if it's still there.

I was only puzzled by the apparent shyness of our lovely lurkers...the Linux thing, however [only 1 in 10,000 donate *anything*...? WTF? ] is actually rather sad, to me anyway.

Sounds like we need about another 1,000,000 viewers then. *:)*

I'm still learning and refining the gif makers art.
I had a lot of trouble with the aspect ratio in these Blanche Neige ones, but I'll post the rest over the next few days anyway.

Lucky Prince Charming at rehearsals. *:)*

Wish there was a more constant flow of news but that is not the case sadly. *:|*

A showing of ''La bande à Juliette'' at L'Archipel Théâtre & Musique in Adelaide. *:)*

Oh no, wait, that's L'Archipel Théâtre & Musique in Paris. *:|*
Easy mistake to make.

Next Monday 25th April as a part of the Festival de Brive.
So much easier for me to go if it was in Adelaide. :(

Fishy, you should be titled 'Keeper of the Acquart Archives' [or something like that] 8)

That's a first.
I'm usually called much more rude things than that.

A bit more play time, er, rehearsal time, with the step-mother. *:)*

Pauline seems worried that I may have lost one of the gifs I made on Sunday.
Now, where in the hell did I move it? :? :T :x

I woke early, from an endless labyrinthine nightmare of a composite Manchester/Liverpool's seedy underbelly...don't you just hate it when that happens?

Feel a bit like that last Acquart gif, only with wider eyes.
