Good news for La bande à Juliette! I hope it will convince them to release it soon .

This one and "Lettre d'un père à sa fille" I really want to see. I don't know the producers' reasons for ignoring the mails, but shame on them if it is some kind of exclusivity they want to keep confined to festivals.

Hi Owen,
Forrest & Léa were very good about "Lettre d'un Père à sa Fille".
They said it was not for sale, but agreed to give me a copy if I gave them an undertaking not to distribute it further.
I've watched it many times.


"Casting" & "Sans faire de bruit", I sent an intitial e-mail which was unanswered, but I haven't sent a follow up yet.
Just a bit lazy of me I guess.
Normally I'd send a follow up to an associated e-mail address in case the first one was wrong, (at least that's what I'd tell them).

While trying to avoid any spoilers, "Perdu d'avance" is a brief connection between two people who both seem to have mental issues.
It does not end well.

No Pauline, much worse than pricking your finger with a needle.

Seen the trailer again. Although the short is very short, it's still tempting. Love the colors; Acquart seems particularly beautiful in this film.

I keep an eye on what Théo's up to from time to time, as I do with scores of others Pauline has worked with, or is long time friends with.

"Jamais Contente" arrived in the post today but I haven't had a chance to watch much of it yet.
It does have sub-titles, , but they're in French, for the hearing impaired I guess.
It's made me realise that my understanding of conversational French is pretty crap, to use the technical term.
Perhaps I should be more patient and wait till there's a release with English subs before I rush out and buy the DVD.

Actually "Jamais Contente" is a very good film.
Léna Magnien is excellent as the troubled child Aurore.
I had a lot of trouble understanding the subtleties of the plot what with the language issues and all, but the story itself is fairly straight forward, so I was able to keep up.

And while Pauline's role is fairly minor she does have some lovely appearances.
One to watch again for sure.
