Where are all the new pics of Pauline, though, dammit? Just about all the googlepix are, like five years old, she doesn't even look like that any more [captivating though film Marine is as F/Agnes or Elina].

Or Is she exercising some sort of a veto? Is everything all right? Does she know how gorgeous she is? I do hope so...when I was young and beautiful, I thought I was hideous and geeky and no-one could possibly find me attractive :T 8) .. :T

I'll have a bit of a snoop when I get the chance, and see what I can come up with.

Meanwhile. :)P

Got bored watching the tennis, so I thought I have a bit of a look.

Found a few which I haven't had a chance to sort out yet, but there doesn't seem to be much context with most of them.
Anyway, here's a clip from YT, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq8MfG_ghJM of Pauline in a stage production of "Blanche Neige" (Snow White) in (I think) 2010.

Lousy quality because it seems to have been staged behind some kind of gauze curtain, as you can see from the screen cap. The clip goes for 3 mins 16. There are a couple of other clips floating around of the cast taking a bow at the end of the show, but they seen to be taken by a phone-cam or something and they're not very good.

It bothers me that so many of the images of l'Acquart are sorrowful or angry, including the recent ones. I pray that this is only the nature of the parts she has been asked to play, because I really hope she is well and happy, and has found some suitable vehicle for her talents, and that we will see much more of her eftsoons or right speedily.

I note that she's dipping a graceful toe into live theatre with the Blanche Neige thing, this seems to me an excellent idea, and smart craft move [though I would like a few words with the makeup artist, from the bits of vid and stills I've seen]; it seems to have met with a favourable response, is indeed being presented again in February; so hopefully this time it will be better documented, and images of it will end up in the public domain.

It must be a bit strange to see yourself almost exclusively represented on the Net as a fifteen-year-old gamine, however beautiful and astonishing. The Moriarty topless thing feels, to me, like her saying to the world 'this is me now, OK? I'm not Marie anymore, I'm fully grown"...although of course this could all be projection on my part... 8)

I think it's always a problem for young actors, wanting to move on. If the audience is fair, you can't freeze them in time or pickle them in aspic. It's natural that they want to develop and take on fresh challenges. It amused me no end for Kare Hedebrant to reply to his wTI presentation, by wanting to talk up his sci-fi project. Likewise I was annoyed by someone else on there saying how shocked they were to find Lina appearing in a sex education shortfilm playing a 15-year old. FFS! she is 15 years old now.

It's tough for any actor, especially a young one to start their career at the top, what with NdP winning the Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival. But continental cinema seems better at career management than ''chew them up, spit them out'' Hollywood, which has a lot of casualties to answer for. :Y

Why don't you make your Camilla 19 instead of 13, and write it up for Pauline? :Y :Y :Y

:D

I don't think that film audiences realize just how far ideas get stretched in the ''sketch pad to production'' process. They seem to think it comes ready-formed like manna from Heaven. FA/SML originally started as an idea ''about two young sisters, finding themselves living next door to a serial murderer'' which if you see Lukas 's short film 'Bar mig lite' which is on the FA/SML DVD as an extra, you can well believe.

I'm doing a major re-write on ''TBWTTIHS" and dumping the Oskar and Eli characters to make way for an original older teenage pair of scoundrels, a boy and a, well boy-girl  LÁcquart would be perfect for the boy-girl character. More than a match for Skylar Moon!

One of the few pics of her smiling, , well, almost smiling. 8)

Seems to be on the set of the 30 min. short film "Le chant des sirènes" from 2009, where she plays Juliette.

I found a couple of other pics from the same source but I still haven't discovered the plot or anything.
Bloody annoying. :x
