Watched El Laberinto del Fueno on blueray last night.
Although I`m no fan of the fantasy/adventure genre, this film is one of my favorites *:)*

It have been broadcast also in our tv, last month I think so. I also watched and I have to say that the end made me crying. :? And how you write, I'm also not a fan of fantasy, but this was filmed so nicely and done that it happened also my favorite movie. :)

Pan's Labyrinth? I thought it was clever and stuff, but the rather slack plot basically made it a phantasmagoria or fever dream...

I agree, its more the imagery and feeling of the movie that makes it so great, not so much the plot.
To call it like a fever dream would be fair, but I see that as a very good thing, particularly in this one.

Yes, it was exactly what touched me, that it was all only some ideas of a little innocent girl.

It was just the cool thing about it, without arrogance, probably you have the movie not so much watched.

Just the once...when I think about it, most films are 'just the once' with me, it seems only the few, the very best, have multiple watchability.

So I finally watched ,,Låt den rätte komma in'' last three days back (your still calling LTROI - until recently I didn't know what the abbreviation means). Very good film I have to say. Too natural and realistic till of which freezes. :)

I always hoped you'd like it, LTROI, LDRKI or whatever. Still haven't seen his 'tinker, tailor', supposed to be very good too.
