Saw World War Z at the cinema today. Very enjoyable, a strong zombie action-horror that manages to be very entertaining from start to finish, with plenty of solid scares. :D

The Tale of Desperaux. Entertaining animated family movie. Okay, okay, I admit it, I only got it 'cause Emma plays the Princess in it. So sue me. :P

Is it possible to have a crush on someone's voice? :P   :T :)P

Out there, in the great big world, some might raise an eyebrow.

But in here you're just as normal as anyone else. :T

Saw This Is The End at the cinema today. Er... yeah. Not for me, I'm afraid. Some funny moments at times (and, needless to say, loved Emma's cameo. Christ Almighty, she really is supernaturally attractive in a totally can't-take-your-eyes-off-her way  :)P ) but got increasingly unfunny and annoying the longer it went on. Just not my cup of tea, I'm afraid. *:|*

Saw The Conjuring at the cinema today. A refreshingly oldskool scarefest with a nice 70s vibe. I rather liked it. :D

Watched "A Blood Pledge" so I've now seen all five "Whispering Corridors" films. I posted on #2, "Memento Mori" a whle back.

Fascinating series in that the only common link is the setting of a haunting in a girls secondary school. Different cast, characters, directors, even a different school in every film, with no reference to the previous films. But there is a strong "family resemblance" in all of them. They are all worth watching. The acting is always first rate, especially since the girls are always unknowns. I know that in MM the girls were rigorously trained for months before shooting began. In terms of overall quality, I'd have to say the best is #4, "Voice." But MM is the most romantic.

Saw Kick-Ass 2 at the cinema today. Great fun. Not quite as good as the original, of course, but nonetheless a lot of fun and the best sequel you could possibly hope for. Chloe Moretz again walks off with the film. :D
