No wonder you're moving to Queensland, you must need a bigger house to store all your DVD's.
Haven't bought one in ages.
I keep waiting for Kyss Mig or any of Alex's stuff, but sadly......
Maybe I need to broaden my horizons.

Eh, I don't buy anywhere near as many as I used to. Just the regular Whos, and maybe the odd treat like TA or The Bills. Or anything Emma W does.
I'm actually much, much more discriminating these days.
Promise.

Picked up Doctor Who - The Krotons today. I last saw it about 19 years ago on a ropey pirate copy, so it will be interesting to see what I think of it today on shiny DVD.
Also bought Community seasons 1 and 2. At just $20 each and in a "buy 1 get one free" deal that enabled me to get The X Files season 2 for zilch (I already have it, but one of the discs that has one of my fave eps on it is screwed) I just couldn't resist.
I also - cough, splutter - bought that FA book off eBay.

Doctor Who - The Greatest Show in the Galaxy. FINALLY!
We even get a special cardboard slip cover here in Auz/NZ with different artwork. I prefer it to the normal DVD one, actually.

HANNA with Saoirse [sp?] Ronan, another example of the rapidly-growing Female Warrior archetype that [probably] started with Sigourney Weaver in Alien...spotted it for £3 and took a flyer, reasonably glad I did. Not as crass as most Hollywood thrillers, solid performances all round. Cate Blanchett having lots of fun being Eeeevil...

Tinker, Tailor...by Tomas Alfredson. Since he was working with Hoyte as DP again, and M. le Carre as producer, I had great hopes of this despite misgivings about the lead, and am happy to admit that an excellent job was done all round. It particularly seems to belong here at sweet FA in the sympathetic and natural way the [male] homosexuality was portrayed. It is also a total nail-biter, bristling with tension and drama despite the determinedly downbeat, low-key brief, and very true to the book, what I have recently read.

really like.
Sounds like it might be worth a small investment.

A fiver!
That's like about 8 dollars or so.
I might have to do some serious haggling to get it at that price.

Alas for the iniquities and inequities of trade.

However, having watched it three times now, I think I can vouch for its quality. Mr. Cumberbatch in particular was a very pleasant surprise.

Dunno what kind of system protection you use Ian, but;
Try the Kaspersky 'one-time' standalone antivirus ...?
Then Spybot Search&Destroy for malware, update regularly...?
Smoothwall looks a good firewall, too, though I haven't tried it.
Lastly EasyCleaner and/or CCleaner, in case it's registry or other Windoze system bloat...?
- they're all free, and very good.
PS; I see now that it was your old PC, but I'd call all of these standard security for any Netbox.
