After FÅ Mathias Rust who played Johan Hult had a very brief career as a pop star with the band Mathias Rust & 0520

The band existed before the movie came out though and Mathias was already a member of it

Needless to say the success of the film gave the band a lot of publicity and they released at least one single (that seems almost impossible to get hold of these days)

I was sure the band was named after the young German guy (Mathias Rust) who landed a small plane in Red Square in the 70's or 80's and that our Mathias only did a few guest spots with them after he found fame with FÅ. If he was in the band before that there might be some pics of him from back then.
