I've seen more flattering pics of Erica.
The page gave no details of where/when/whatever, just the single pic.

Johan Hult has a lot to answer for. :x
I had some stuff on him ealier today, clicked on "submit", and he crashed Mr Pooter.
A deliberate attack of vandalism if ever I saw one.

Here goes again.

This is information obtained from an Aftonbladet article published in 2001, so it's obviously out of date, but there's been nothing else found yet. Searches are made more difficult due to a 19yo German kid who in 1987 flew a light aircraft from Finland without authorisation, and landed on the street next to Red Square in Moscow. His name just had to be Mathias Rust didn't it?

From Aftonbladet;
In 1999 Mathias Rust released a single with the Mathias Rust Band. (named after the other guy)
...made several guest appearances on the Channel 5 production of OP:7. (Same series Rebecka was on)
...studied Theatre Arts at high school in Trollhätten. (in the same class as Erica Carlson)
...did military service as an ambulance driver.
...was looking to a career as an artist of some kind.
...was also seeking entry to a stage school in Gothenburg.
and
...refused to give autographs or interviews.

Image

What do we know from then?
He was in Hannah med H.
and Johan Hult still has an active fan club on Facebook (or was it Myspace?). Not many members and they don't seem to know anything new, just wondering about his sexuality.
Mathias doesn't go there.

Not a lot for 11 years I know, I just hope he'll let me post it this time.

Bo G Lyckman seems to be pretty much in full time work as a stage actor with only brief departures to tv or film. This is a bit about a production called "Anna, Hanna och Johanna" he was in from around April 2009 and which may still be touring regional towns.

Anna, Hanna och Johanna is based on the novel "Hanna's Daughters: Anna, Hanna och Johanna" written in 1994 by Marianne Fredriksson. Here's a brief summary copied from the Nordin Agency website.

Restless and unable to sleep, Anna picks up a sepia photograph of her grandmother, Hanna, as a young woman. It is like looking in a mirror and Anna sees not the tetchy old woman of family stories but a woman who might love, cry, hate, just as she does. For the first time, Anna sees herself and her mother, Hanna's daughter, not just as family, but also as real people whose lives have rich and complex stories to tell.

Dubbed the Scandinavian answer to Wild Swans, Marianne Fredriksson's compelling story of three generations of Swedish women has been translated into approximately forty languages and become an international bestseller. Set against the majestic isolation of the Scandinavian lakes and mountains, this is more than a story of a grandmother, mother and daughter. It is a moving testament of a forgotten time, an evocation of an entire milieu with its own social codes and historical predicaments, and an epic romance in every sense of the word.

Ranked as No. 3 on the 1998 international fiction bestseller list worldwide (Publishing Trends).

No. 1 bestseller in Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands and Australia.

Chosen as The Book of the Year in Sweden, Germany and The Netherlands.

I believe the film rights have been sold so this might be one to see when it all happens. If anyone's read the book please share you thoughts.

This is Google's translation of an interview with Erica Carlson from back in 2004, regarding her film Camp Slaughter.
It also gives a bit of an insight into her life and ambitions.
The interview is from the dvdforum.nu website here http://www.dvdforum.nu/?act=shoart&id=248

Next in turn is Erica Carlson who plays Trudy in the film and also has worked with Lukas Moodysson success in Show Me Love.
How was it that you started acting?
- It all started well with the few jobs on TV, but the breakthrough was obvious with my role in the Show Me Love. I did test after test shooting shooting and eventually it turned out that I had got the role, which of course was really fun. Since it has continued to Camp Slaughter and upcoming Six Points. I'm very happy to have had the chance to participate in these films, because I have always dreamed of becoming an actress. I always wanted to see my name on a-list and there've been visiting, which is great fun.

How did you get the role of Camp Slaughter?
- There was also a test shooting, and the week after I got the role.

What was it that attracted you most about the project?
- The fact is that there is no direct hails offers when you, like me, is a relatively unknown actress, so you simply take what you get. But of course it felt even a bit interesting with the theme, so it affected the course also.

How was it to speak English? Any particular difficulties?
- Yes, it is clear that there was difficult. I had to limit the acting more than the dialogue had been in Swedish, plus I could not improvise as much. As a whole, it was definitely harder, but it was so they wanted it and then it was just to accept it.

How did the recording in general? People talked a lot about ghosts in the house where you lived.
- The actual recording was great fun and very nice, but we did get ten days in Children's Island, so it was very 'camp atmosphere "of the whole, with toilets and bunk beds for example. I like that. Subject ghosts on film set, they were pretty scary sometimes, especially when the toilet doors locked themselves.

You've also been involved in Lukas Moodysson's Show Me Love. How different the shooting of the film against the filming of Camp Slaughter? Were there many differences?
- Yes, there were many differences. Camp Slaughter is indeed a very "simple" and smaller film with minimal resources, while Show Me Love is much greater. There was everything in place during the recordings, sound engineer type, script and so on. Such saw no hint of when we played in Camp Slaughter. Admittedly Show Me Love not the world's largest project, but the differences were there after all.

Was it easy to get into the role?
- Yes, that was it. This is very easy role to shape and, moreover, I do not think Camp Slaughter is a movie just for the actors because the characters are so simple, "typical slasher". So I had no problems with my role.

Are you satisfied with the end result?
- Well, I do not know what to say. It's a film made by enthusiasts and some parts I like, but other parts I think the worse. Camp Slaughter 's actually a pretty simple movie, without any deep meaning. Moreover, it is more like a comedy than a horror film, so anyone who had expected some kind of creepy horror with deep meaning will obviously be disappointed. But overall it's a right funny movie that was fun to shoot.

Do you have any special role models in acting? What do you like yourself?
- I have no particular model well, but on those I love, I think that Swedish actors in general is very good. Especially Torkel Pettersson and Maria Lundkvist, whose interpretation of Sally is wonderful. Otherwise, I think it is rather difficult to name any specific, but I just want to say that I like very Swedish actress.

The Swedish film supply today is fairly limited, but how do you think Camp Slaughter will be received in Sweden film? Will it be considered as an important film, because of the unusual genre it represents?
- No, I do not think. Some will probably say well this is Sweden's first attempt at a kind of horror comedy, but it has already done well this past? What's on now ...? Evil Dead? No, Evil Ed called it. So there are already other films in this genre. Camp Slaughter is more half funny movie that you will see and laugh a bit different.

The film has been pretty juicy criticism by the reviewers. How did you react to this?
- It was of course not funny when I found out that for the first time, but I suppose a reviewer to be critical, and saw much. But I understand them anyway, because I think most people were expecting a real horror film, but as I mentioned earlier, this is no horror movie with deep message, but more a simple horror comedy. So I can understand certain reactions.

How is your relationship to the film in general? Do you see much film?
- Yes, absolutely - I love movies! Most I see when I visit my parents home in Trollhättan, where I usually always hiring pulp film and then see them in the mornings. I think people are most receptive to the film then. Then I go well at the cinema sometimes, but it is not as often as it is a bit too expensive.

How do you film? On DVD perhaps?
- This is a bit embarrassing, but I do not have a DVD player and have actually never even seen on a DVD, or ... yes, I saw Texas Chainsaw Massacre on DVD once, but otherwise you're always vhs for my part.

Favorite movies?
- Wow, it's so hard to name just one, there are so many good. No, I can not think of any now, but in general, so I do not like American movies very much. I'm more of such British and European cinema in general.

Had you seen many Slashers, or horror at all, before Camp Slaughter? Did you see any particular prior to recording?
- No, I have hardly seen anything at all, actually, I'm not much for horror. Sure, I have seen a few well, such as Blair Witch Project and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but I try to keep myself as far away as possible from fear, for I am only afraid, and may be difficult to sleep. I saw, however, some view Camp Slaughter, including Swedish The unknown who actually was pretty scary between yards.

What are you doing besides the movie? Plugin? Job?
- Right now I work in kindergarten.

Camp Slaughter will, as you know in a nice DVD later this year. Is this something you also been involved in, for example through interviews or similar?
- Some have I participated in. They did a bit a kind of behind the film and where I say some things. But I'm so bad on the extras as I do not see on DVD, I think that I have never seen any extras at all.

You also have a role in the upcoming Six Points. Tell us a little about the project.
- It was filmed in Luleå in the autumn of 2003 and it is a form of, yes, relationship drama between three childhood friends who put to the test. It was a fun recording and it will be exciting to see the results, for you never know how the overall result. Camp Slaughter such was not at all as I had expected.

Finally, what are the plans? You should continue to focus on acting, or is there something else related?
- I would like to continue acting, but then it also depends on if I may, that is, if it shows up a few new projects. This is a fairly small market, with many people who want jobs, so competition is fierce. But the living can see.

Ralph Carlsson in Ibsen's "A Dolls House" in 2005.
Image

Ralph plays Pastor Ekdahl in a new film called "Oldboys", directed by Nikolaj Steen and due for release on 20 Nov 2009.
It's described as a comedy drama but there are no other details.

Edited 27 Oct: I have found this trailer for Oldboys. Ralph C isn't mentioned in the trailer but the movie looks like it might have a bit of potential.
