I'm not a fan of this American tradition, halloween, being imported to Scandinavia in such a big scale as it has the past 10 years.
When I was a kid we used to go "julebukk" (christmas goat), which is a similar tradition, where children dress up in christmas outfits and go door to door, singing christmas songs, and are usually awarded with a treat or a warm drink (this in december of course, not end of october like halloween).
It's an old and very northern tradition, and unfortunantely it seems to be almost extinct these days.
The same goes for Valentine's Day, which has also been introduced from overseas recent years.

It's like they're substituting much of our culture, americanisationing it , and I don't care for it.

No Halloween tradition in Australia either, but yet little kids come round knocking on my door looking for whatever they're looking for.
I just send them on their way.
Yet they also make me feel guilty as hell.

Halloween was not invented by the Americans, however much that may seem to be the case. They merely commercialized it (as they are wont to do). Deep down, it's an old Pagan tradition - in other words, British.

BTW, if I should suddenly disappear today it's because of the weather.
A moderate tropical low has come inland from the Indian Ocean, drifted south and met up with a deep cold weather low coming up from the Southern Ocean.
ATM the lightning is just starting, no rain, still hot.

I don't quite know what the problem was but each time I tried to download from the site you said Kso, my anti-virus ware went ballistic and wouldn't let me do anything.
Best not to tempt fate, so I downloaded all the "Goodwin" site stuff and then found a few others on YT.
I'll get to sort though them all and find the best clips soon, hopefully.
