Found this on a Chinese site. Usually Chinese sites are pretty useless for finding anything worthwhile but I did think this DVD "cover" was a bit out of the ordinary.


Obviously a remake with Erice Carlsow playing Jessica this time, or maybe she's playing Sherdil.

He was just a regular person from I think the Czech Republic, who somehow contacted her and was able to meet her

I have no idea if Rebeckas t-shirt with the communist hammer and sickle is supposed to have some political meaning, or if it's just a "cool" t-shirt

On my websearch, it's listed on Weisenbacher's site, so its an old photo, but on actually searching the site I can't actually find it, so it may be a ''dead-link'' The reference is http://f-amal.weisenbacher.com/fapicx/rebme_ret.jpg I think in Russian it spells ''Election'' rather than ''Erection'' like you say it may just be posing as ''radical chic'' rather than an endorsement, although Bex's Mum and Dad were key players in the Swedish Communist Party. Just as an aside, The Party that morphed into something more Social Democratic or at least Socialist was meant to be a major beneficiary of Stieg Larsson's post-humous fortune, although he died at 50 without making a Last Will and Testament, so the family fortune has reverted (under existing Swedish law) to his Father rather than his life-partner and the causes he espoused. At something like 40 Million quid it's worth fighting over
