You probably mean the english speaking world, but the term "West" isn't correct since Sweden is a part western Europe, and therefore "the West" both geographically and culturally.

There is no such thing as just an english speaking "West".

"The West" is basically western Europe and North America.

And Australia too of course since it's a former colony inhabited by europeans, although geographically it's more South-East.

Astro is of course a South American production, so you're right about it not being "West", but I've seen you call stuff from Sweden not from "the Western world" before.

"Ian hasn't made geographical sense ever since he moved to Townsville, which is in Queensland in the east of Australia.
He now takes all references from the International Date Line, so pretty much everything apart from New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands are to the "west".
Even East Timor is now to Ian's west, and he finds it very confusing.
