There was a lovely interview with the lady in a big swedish magazine today It was a nice surprise this morning to find that face jumping at you when you opened the paper kinda choked on my coffee

You guys all have translation tools and stuff, so I wont bother but basically she talks about Because the night, what she thinks about the Stockholm nightlife, what she's been doing since FÅ, and how she feels about balancing acting and directing.

kinda nice to see that she is being talked about and stuff, we certainly haven't seen the last of this woman yet and it says in the article that she will be showing the new film on monday in a place a couple blocks from where I live maybe I should just happen to walk by and see if I can get a glimpse

Do you have any idea if there's a distributor who makes Alex's short films available to the public?
I'd love to get them all.

Well, unfortunately, you have to be a member of the Stockholm film festival to get to see it, and, unfortunately, I am not. And her short films so far seem to have been on a pretty small scale, so I they haven't been widely distributed even in Sweden

but I'm looking forward to the day she'll make her smash hit debut film about, I don't know, teenage lesbians or something, that will get the whole world to pray at her feet and drown her in oscars

While you're discussing your ideas for a new feature film with her you could mention that here are people out here salivating at the thought of any of her work.

Yep, I'm absolutely planning on sharing my ideas and opinions for her future career should I bump in to her some day.
And i'm sure she'll be delighted to have my advice.

you're right, codyw1, maybe the whole teenage lesbian thing is a bit out of date, after all there was a quite popular film about that some 10 years ago in sweden, and she obviously wouldn't wanna go stealing that idea, now
