I personally would not be in the least surprised.

Audrey Hepburn, the original gamine, always brought herself to her roles, she was real like l'Acquart is; you know she's showing you something of herself, of her real self, via the role.

I'll bet he...went to Paris...bought a theatre ticket, then...lurked shyly ouside the stage door afterwards. Am I right , Sir?

Hi Fish, DMt & everyone else on FA.com. I travelled to Paris 3 times to see Pauline starring in Blanche Neige, twice in 2010 and once in 2011. After the second performance in October 2010, I asked a member of the theatre staff would she please go backstage and ask Pauline to autograph my programme. She returned a few moments later and explained that Pauline will coming out to meet some of the audience and I can ask her then myself. When Pauline came out I shook her hand and explained that I was her English admirer who had sent her a letter in February and she had in return emailed me a photo of herself. Pauline then autographed my programme "Pour Andrew ! Acquart" I thanked Pauline, gave her a present and told her that one day she will be a famous actress. I hope she understood. I was chuffed to have met Pauline. She is very beautiful, elegant and has a gorgeous smile.

So she signs herself Acquart? I had no idea...but I've been using l'Acquart as her honorific for some time, as in the Acquart, the only one. Which is cool.
