I have a busy year of gigs lined up for the coming year:

Judas Priest - 30th March @ CIA , Cardiff
Motley Crue - June sometime @ CIA , Cardiff
Iron Maiden - 25th June @ Parc de Princes, Paris
Iron Maiden - Sometime after June in the UK, TBA

Its shaping up to be a rocking new year already for me B)

Apparently Vince Neil from Motley Crue may be going to prison for year due to beating up a sound engineer guy, so that gig looks like its gunna be scratched from my list. But, rumours have it that KISS are supposed to be playing at Hyde Park, so I may go to that one as well

I'm going to the German rockfestival Rock im Park next year.
It has the following bands playing:

Green Day
Incubus
The Hives
HIM
The Prodigy
The Chemical Brothers

Probably Maroon 5, KISS, Slayer and Slipknot will also come.

I wouldn't mind going to see Slayer and KISS, and possibly The Prodigy and maybe Green Day and Chemical Brothers, but the rest aren't my cup of tea

They're alright but I wouldnt go out of my way to watch them at a concert or a festival

I now have a gig to go to on the 22nd January at the Millenium Stadium in aid of a Tsunami Charity concert. They are hoping to raise a million pound + so its all for a good cause.

I just noticed in my gigs for this year I had Velvet Revolver down for the 14th. That date was wrong. It was tonight, and to quote Scott Weiland it was "Rock n' fucking Roll"

And to all of you going to Rock Am Ring or Rock Im Park, the mighty Iron Maiden are headlining a day at each festival B) I just wished I lived on the Continent as you seem to have all the best Metal Festivals. You're a lucky lot

the only festival I've ever been to is the lowlands festival in holland: in 2004 I saw the Hives live and they were awesome! and I saw Velvet Revolver too, which was pretty cool, you know, we were standing there just looking at Slash! and this singer is better than axl rose. but i suppose it's pretty bad to compare Guns n Roses with Velvet, or isn't it? olleyes:

and styvisor: what do you think of the band Ash: I believe they're from Brittain and pretty huge over there. I'm quite addicted to their single-collection Intergalactic Sonic 7"s!!

and: in february I'm going to see Saybia live, but, about a month later, the almighty THERMALS! you should definitely check those guys (and one girl, on bass :wub: ) out!!

Ash supported The Darkness on their December Tour. They were alright, not my cup of tea, but they got the crowd going B)

I’ll go to Viljandi Folk Music Festival in July. It’s far more than just a folk festival. It’s a legendary event in Estonia. You see, people live for it (like me). It’s just amazing thing.
All those groovy peeps: folk fans, hipies, rockers, punk rokers, free thinkers/spirits, artists, bohemians, rastafarians, intelligents or just legendary by nature go there. (Did i mention? No ’extasy’ nation!) All of them just sitting together on the ground, on the streets, on the beach. Everybody is chillin’, jammin’ playing drums, flutes, guitars, jew’s harps… singing, dancing, drinking beer, smoking weed, having fun, listening to the music. There are lots of interesting bands from different places around the world playing folk influenced music. Still the atmosphere and people make this event. All positive and fun chilling vibes, freedom!
Everybody’s wearing what ever they like. There’s kind of non-written dresscode for second hand cloths. It’s a sort of carnival at the same time
There are workshops teaching ancient and unique instrumenst, different culture and folk stuff on a professional level.
The place is just wonderful. Beautiful town with nice little old houses. Most of the concerts are aired in the ruins of an old castle and in the park surrounding it. The beach is at hand as well.
But the best part is that you can have it all basically for free. You can pay nothing and you won't miss anything. You can miss only if you just don't get there! The only worry is transport and food but it doesn’t pay much. B)

The Tsunami Concerts been and gone, and it raised about £1.25 million so far....

Lowlights:

Liberty X - Why???? At least they only played for about 10 minutes and then left
Queuing for over an hour just to get a drink <_<

I thought that the concert would be a complete shambles as it was all done in 23 days, but to the credif of the organisers they got it sorted B)
