I've been sent a tax demand for underpayment (wait for it) of four pence. Yes that's £0.04 along with a warning that if I don't pay up now, it will be surcharged to me next year along with interest FFS it cost them 25pence in postage just to send me that, nevermind the stationery and staff and computer processing time. WTF, they let bankers get away with screwy tax dodges and MP's fiddling expenses. What a bunch of wankers.

On your dvd player's remote control there is (should be) a button labled "subtitles".
Once the film starts, try pressing that button until you get the word "English" to appear at the top of the screen.

Works every time.

I discovered the "subtitles" button a while ago when one of my dvd's wouldn't put the subs up using the menu option.
I just use the button all the time now.
"Almost" all of my dvd's with subs work with just the button on the remote.

When crew members shove cameras in Siobhan's face backstage after her off-night performance, while she's crying. Simply because the producers like drama and want to show more of it for ratings.

Siobhan had an off-night performance wise, although I liked it. The judges had some harsh critism about her performance and Siobhan felt really bad about her performance and had to fight off tears as she stood there listening to them and taking it all in. Afterwards, but shown later, she was backstage crying and the camera crew were shoving cameras in her face, while she was crying. Apparently, she felt that she'd let us (fans) down and was feeling really bad about it all. Damn producers, camera crew and their ratings!!
