I bought a police car! OK it may only be a model on 1:43 scale  A Ford Zephyr 6 Mk III. But it is in mint condition and authentic to the period. I got it cheap off a stall on the market. One of a limited edition of 2,300 produced for the ‘Police Cars of The World Series’ by Vanguard/ Corgi. Very wisely they have kept this away from kids hands  So mine has the original wing mirrors intact (missing, you will observe in this photograph). It may seem strange to have a Ford, when we expect to see Volvos :?: althought the Swedish Police have used a whole variety of cars. I believe only a small number were purchased, brought in part-built and assembled at the SAAB plant in Trollhatten. The Mk III only had a short run from 1962 – 1966, with only 105,256 made. The black and white livery is correct for the period. You see examples of the B&W cars in the film of ‘Let The Right One In’ set in 1981. It was changed to white and blue from 1985, Then from 2005 the blue and flourescent yellow ‘Battenburg’ livery was adopted. You see examples of both of the latter in the Swedish ‘Wallander’ TV series (I now have all 26 episodes that were produced). The Zephyr was judged a bit ‘lightweight’ for Swedish requirements and wasn’t re-ordered. I guess that answer to why Valiant chose this model, is that they already had the die-castings as they also produced a West Yorkshire police version  So they just needed to make a few adjustments (note it is left hand drive) and change the livery. Here is a picture of the real thang in action *:)* (or inaction) *:|* I bet you really wanted to know all this didn’t you? :Z

Best night's sleep I've had in ages. Thanks Snaps. *:)* :P

At last I can now say "sorry" to everyone, in Swedish.

In case you can't think why I should say sorry, stick around, I'm sure it will all be self evident eventually.

Reading an email I got from actress/singer Marline Yan. :D I sent her a message on her youtube account and didn't know one way or another if I'd get a reply. Never expected the email. Happy message in my inbox.

today I found in one czech journal article about Alicia Vikander. :) And very nice they speak about her there. It's all about her on all one page with a bold fonts title (in translate) ''Alicia Vikander, talented Swedish actress'' . And there writing about her last big role in historical movie about Danish Queen. :) But It wasn't also for a way that was very funny for me, only quite special and unusual. I was definitely pleased. :)

you want ? Well but this magzine I left at home in city (Brno) and a now I am near my parents in small town. But my sister it could bring, if she returns in close time...I'll ask her. I have a scaner. When I found this small breast's bottle-alcohol in father's wardrobe so I found any others old a lot of magazine also of year 1998-99 And there can be something about FA maybe....but I don't know. Yet I didn't have any time for this thorough exploration. But I will do it, I promise.
