Faaark! can't believe its almost a year since this thread kicked off. Must be worth an edited highlights at least? I wanna know how you do the screencap of the webcam thing. All the best action takes place when the wallabies are tucked up in bed with a hot o'boy to send them off to dreamland and the words of the Bible for comfort. :D

Screensaves eh?
Pic the screen image you want to save.
The Åmål webcam is usually like a still frame anyway so just pick the moment you want to save.
Press the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard.

Select any pic you have saved previously and double click (or press enter) to open it up in "Microsoft Office Picture Manager", if that's the one you use. I use that one, so that's the one I know.
Click on "Edit", "Paste" on the top menu.
Close that pic.
Go to the folder where you had it saved and there'll be a new file called "New Picture". Dbl click on it and you'll have something like this open up.
Image

Then you can click on "Edit Pictures" on the "Shortcuts" menu.
Like so.
Image
And you'll be able to select cropping and/or resizing plus other choices you might want to play around with.

When you're happy with the image use the top menu to "File", "Save As" and then you have your picture from your screen saved.

Pretty easy really, if you know how.

Round 09:30 on Wed.
Cloudy
Windy
Looks damned cold.

Where is everyone?
Hardly any traffic.
Hardly anyone walking.

Hardly worth watching really. *:|* :P

OK, try this.
You have to "paste" the image into a folder before you can do anything with it.
This is the folder where I keep many of the Alex/Beck pics.
Image

Choose any pic you like and "open" it by double clicking on it. (or just press enter)
Press the "Print Screen" key at whatever image you want to save.
Then go to your "opened" pic and press "Edit" "Paste"
Image

Then you will find a new file in the same folder as the one you originally "opened".
Image

The you can "open" the new file and play around with it.

Round 08:00 Sat

See if you can spot what's missing in the pic.

That's right.
Signs of life.
Not even a bloody car on the road.

Booorrriiinnnggg. Image

Of course I mean that in a caring and sharing kind of way.
I mean, I love Åmål. *:)* :P

Thurs 16th Sept 11:45 ish.

Sun's shining.
No doubt birds are singing.
Even people are walking.

But it's still boring. Image

I wish Elin and Agnes would hurry up and get here to liven things up. *:)* *:)*
I've almost given up hope. :T

... had to edit this the link didnt work

Got it. download this, be patient it may take a few seconds to open out and refocus:

http://www.hitta.se/LargeMap.aspx?gatubild&gvX=6464631&gvY=1293176&gvH=28

This is ''the bridge'' its on a panoramic, if you move to the west, behind the fence you can see the school buildings, behind them is ''the park''. On the map you can move the little Agnes figure with your mouse, around to get other shots. if you follow and click on the trail of blue spots you can go under the bridge, (mind Alex doesn't flob on you :D ) do a 360 degrees, see the ''wrong'' side of the road for Stockholm (which is actually the correct side!) and the rail that Agnes and Elin parked their bums against. You can move the little Agnes figure around the Sylte area of the map and you can see the block where Elin, Jessica and Mama lived lived. (Haven't found Agnes house yet!)

oh endless hours of harmless amusement beckon :T
