I wonder who choose this color combination for a forum (white text on bright red). It really sucks. After a couple of minutes my eyes are burned away.

I chose it. I disagree with you. you probably need a new PC screen. :D

Well, seriously I chose the color combination because it suits the movie... And it could be your color settings (because it is not bright red -- it is a soft tone). I never had complaints about the color.

I wonder why you think this color combination suits the movie... What do you want to express with it? Mood or something?

And maybe it's because I have "Digital Vibrance" setup on Medium. Its making brightest colors on my display. If I turn it off, color looks like you wrote in your reply (soft tone).

But you should think about the colors of this page. White text on black background is depressive. And Fucking Amal should be opposite. I advice you to use some pastel soft tones (but not this red of course). I think Rebecca-Liljeberg.com has good colors.

I tried different colors. Also very bright ones. Since I use this color setting I am most satisfied. All in all it's just a matter of taste.

Maybe you can go to the soundtrack section of my site. There you see the same colors. Also many DVD covers use black and red. So... It suits also the promotional material. The green suits the Rebecka Liljeberg forum very well. But it is a different forum. This forum is about the movie. You said it looks depressing... well I think that in combination with the red it is very enlighting. But thanks for the remarks. All remarks are very welcome, but I only do not share your opinion.

Btw your personal site has also a black background and bright font colors. Depressing? Not in my opinion.

I chose the black background at my page partly because I wanted to be depressive. But since then I change my mind. I'm thinking about changing color combination.

And... red background.. I can't see that at any picture or cover from the film. Except the red wall in the toilet scene.

I wrote that it makes me trouble to read it and that sucks. And, yes my avatar definitely doesn't fit into this red forum.
