Well, I was going to watch The Shining last night, but turned it off after half an hour. Wasn't in the mood, I guess. So I watched Doctor Who - Terminus, instead. Underrated. Rather enjoyed it, actually. :D

Watched the first episode of Skins, season 3 this tea-time. Very good, I thought! Were the first two series as good?

That was very entertaining. Considerably funnier than I was expecting, too. Great to see Ardal O'Hanlon and Victoria Wicks (It took me a few seconds to place her, and then I shrieked "SALLY SMEDLEY!" ) in the faculty. Nice girls, too. Emily is gorgeous, of course, but the pigtailed blonde (the one that skipped with joy upon escaping from the "Hair and Beauty" class  ) was very cute, too.

Recorded it last night but not had the chance to watch it yet. You're making it sound very good so I'll have to make time tomorrow. 8)

Flicking through channels last night I stumbled onto UKTV which was showing an episode of Doctor Who called "Gridlock". Watched most of it and thought it was ok. Not the best I've ever seen, but ok.

The Doctor and Martha return to Earth in the year 5 billion odd and must brave the ordeal of the mysterious Motorway. Martha is kidnapped, the Doctor has to find her and in the process discovers the nasty secrets at the heart of the city.

Not the point.

One of the kidnappers was played by Lenora Crichlow, Maria "Sugar" Sweet from Sugar Rush. :D
The episode didn't seem to be a lead up to her becoming the new assistant or anything so it'll be interesting to see how they handle the transition.

Er, she's not the new assistant, fish. I don't know where you've got that idea from! :T

Saw Skins episode 2 earlier. Rather crap, I thought... :r

But, but, but, but. I thought you promised.
I must have completely misinterpreted something you previously said about the cast for the 2010 season.

I think Gridlock must have been about the last Who episode I watched. Bizarrely enough I prefer the programs about ''making'' the programs SFX etc, rather than the episodes themselves. The new Dr Who assistant might rekindle my interest though

I think it's just wishful thinking myself. The new assistant is 21 year old Scottish redhead Karen Gillan. I distinctly recall you foaming at the mouth at the prospect of a redhead, so I know I've told you this before! :D :P

I'm sorry, I'm new here having just arrived from another planet.
Do you have a thing called intelligent life here?
I've come for a transplant if I can find a suitable donor. *:|* :| :T
