X Files: Schizogeny. Rather good ep that snaps may be interested to know features a pre-Ginger Katharine Isabelle.

Also Chinga, the Stephen King killer doll episode. Great stuff! "I want to play!"

Hmm, in Spanish "chinga tu madre" means fuck your mother.

Kat and Lily are both awesome, hopefully the new season is good but "second seasons" tend to be worse for whatever reason and them only getting 8 episodes makes me worry a little about it.

There's enough decent shows on tv but they tend to not be strictly on the big networks so I'm not sure how available they are down in kangaroo country. Too bad you can't watch the streaming video from the network websites or hulu or like that but then we don't have koala bears and poisonous toads so it's not like we have it all our way.

LOL

Yes, I've heard that. Some think the X Files writers did it deliberately to smuggle "fuck" on to American television. :P

Started Roseanne season 5 last night. Fabulous stuff.

Roseanne and Dan have just told the kids that they're all but financially destitute.

DARLENE: Can I have a pony?

I love her.

Final 3 eps of Lost season 3 last night. Thrilling stuff.

JACK: First thing I thought when I heard they were coming was "oh God, where are we gonna hide this time?"... We're not hiding anymore.... This time, when they come, we're not gonna run... We're gonna blow 'em all to Hell!

X Files: Kill Switch and Bad Blood. KS is a very dark pure SF story, while Bad Blood is a very funny spoofy vampire episode guest starring none other than Luke Wilson (his bucktoothed hick Sheriff in Mulder's version of events is hysterical  ). Both terrific.

Roseanne.

Jackie has brought her (much younger) boyfriend, Fisher, to dinner and when Darlene arrives home, Roseanne tells her to be on her best behaviour as Jackie is still sensitive about the age difference.

(Darlene walks in kitchen)

FISHER: Hi. You must be Darlene.

DARLENE(pauses ever-so-slightly): Aren't you in my science class?

ROSEANNE: Well, she held out longer than I thought she would...

Doctor Who - The Unquiet Dead. Okay. Bit meh. To be honest, starting to go off the new series ones a bit. They just don't stand reviewing as well as the original series. Too thin. "Chicken McNugget Who", in a way. :r :P

The doco on the 3rd disc of the Parker Lewis dvd. Holy crap, they've all got so old! I didn't even recognise the guy who played Parker, he'd been talking for 10 minutes before I even realised it was him!

Now I feel old. :(

fish wrote:A couple of hours ago I stumbled across an Ebay site, it had series 1 through 4 for sale. Impulse buyer that I am I bought them all. Bit of a bargain for around $150 all up.

Only a minor prize for guessing "The L Word". They all rolled up on Thursday and I decided, rather than try to find the spot where Fox stopped showing them I'd just watch the lot from the beginning. So that's the pilot, all of series one, and I've just finished series two. That's 8 discs with over twenty hours of the show.
Just a tad tired but at least I was hidden away from a couple of Halloween groups banging on my door last night. Image

That show is so good. I guess with such a long duration there's plenty of time for character development but it really is done well. I've just ordered series five and six.
