Now that you mention it, I can see exactly what you mean. Looks OK under the lights at 02:00.

I am a bit worried about those fierce looking fish shaped teeth though.  :T

lol i finally dragged my butt out and actually looked at the thing, and all I can say is that I don't blame you all for thinking that Sweden really must be a hole somewhere in the backwaters of the end of the world

jeez I don't think I've ever seen a greyer place in my whole life (and I friggin LIVE in this country...). I absolutely understand why they chose not to shoot the film here - I mean, the crew would have killed themselves before the month that it took to make the film was over... Trollhättan must be like paradise compared to this.

09:45 Sat and this is the ugliest I've ever seen the place. You can't even see the cross road in the distance through all the fog, the road looks like it tried to thaw but then changed its mind and now it's just an ugly brown/gray colour which has washed over everything else.

A few people trudging along, looks like they might form a queue so they can jump from the bridge in an orderly fashion. Probably the film crew for the movie "Last Exit to Trollhättan".

7.30 pm CET. It deffo looks less hideous under the sodium lamps. Snow has thawed a bit but it still looks like a warzone. Bring back the bottle, cheer us up I say. It looks so depressing, I'm not surprised Agnes wants to move in with me :Y

10:30 am Sun.
Looks about as crappy as yesterday.
You're right about the sodium lamps. The place looks quite nice in that light.

I'm not surprised either. I've read all Moa's reports about the goings on at your place. *:)* *:)* :)P

09:00 Friday and it looks like a beautiful sunny day in Åmål.

Still mountains of snow lying around but in this light you don't mind. A few cars cruising the road and a few people braving the cold for a walk, but with the way it all looks today the residents could have confidence about warmer times ahead. *:)*

Let's just hope that confidence lasts till nightfall. :P

10:00 Friday and the Swedish flag is once again waving in the breeze. *:)*

I swear it looks warmer already. The snow and ice on the river seems to have gone, the road looks wet but ice free, even those mounds of snow seem to be getting smaller.

I know it's not time for short skirts and bare flesh yet but the salmon are getting excited,
(and they're not the only fish getting excited.)

I think we spoke too soon. :(

I know it's early, not yet 07:00, but it looks very, sort of bluish gray, and very cold.
No cars, no people.
Another day for big warm coats and fluffy tea cosies on heads. :W

Nearing 10:00 on Friday.

It's another sepia toned day in Åmål but you can now see the roof where the empty bottle used to live.

Definitely a heat wave on the way. :P  *:)*
