What Are You Currently Watching (on tv/dvd)?

Being a devout "non" soapie person I don't know how I've become addicted to "Kick", but I have, and I love it.

Made in 2007, set in Melbourne it's a multi-ethnic rom/com series replaying at the moment on SBS2 in Australia.

First week it was Mon and Tues 8:30pm on SBS2.
Second week was every day Mon-Fri at 8:30.
This week back to Mon and Tues only.

Seems to vary depending on soccer commitments.

It appears only one series of 13 episodes was made, so we're about the half way mark.
Next week it's listed as Mon and Tues at 9:00pm.

To be fair, the lesbisk part is not a huge part of the show, but it's enough to tell their story and they're a very cute couple.

Oh, by the way, let me introduce you to Hai Ha Le.


She's also in Kick. Very cute.

No wonder Danne Teider wants to stay in Vietnam.

It ends sometime in May. After that those who were in the top 10 go on tour. They just let someone go tonight (her name is Didi) and she was part of the top 10, so she'll still be on tour.

Siobhan's "one bad night" was last night and it looked like she was going to go, but of course her fans pervailed (sp?) and voted their socks off. I did too of course! I voted 20 times, as she is 20 years old. Siobhan cried tonight after she was told she was safe. The whole time before that she was praying silently and she looked terrified. I felt so bad for her.

Doctor Who The Eleventh Hour. Didn't really like it, sorry. Smith is fine, but it all just seems same old, same old to me. Quite liked the first 15 minutes (as others have said, I think the kid Amelia/Amy was better than the grown-up one!) and can't help think the whole episode would have been better if it'd stayed on that track. But it was soon back to rush rush rush, yell yell, yell, jabber jabber jabber while Murray Gold once more attempts to make you bleed out of your ears and a bunch of extras gawp up at a spaceship in the sky above them (like, wow, cause we've never seen that on NuHu before ).

I may call it a day, to be honest.

Doctor Who - The Beast Below. Still don't like it. Y'know, I'm thinking of giving it another few weeks and then bailing. I still adore the original series, but the modern incarnation just doesn't do it for me for some reason. Time to call it a day, perhaps.
