If it is remotely operational, here is my advise: 1) Get Malwarebytes Antimalware (freeware) with current definitions loaded on there. (Works best if you have a second PC or a friends PC and a USB memory stick). 2) Boot the PC in safe mode and run System Restore back to a day that you knew it was working fine (usually a week or so). Once the PC is restored to that prior condition, install and run a Malwarebytes scan (first try quick, then full). If it will not install or won't run after installation, use system restore to go back another week or so - rinse, repeat. 3) After you get to zero infected files, try running a Boot Time Scan with your current anti-virus software to clear out the remaining. 4) Run a full system scan with Malwarebytes after you are pretty sure there are no more viruses.

My advise: 1) Delete *.* Windows xp, vista, 7 or other crap 2) Install a linux system (preferably Ubuntu) 3) If you don't want to install a linux system, throw the windows machine out of your window 4) Get yourself a Macbook. :p

Or, failing the *.* approach.
I have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to look out for spyware and such, and I also run a commercial virus checking program with automatic updates.

Good for the future but first of all you have to get rid of the thing that's infecting your puter now.
