Romana was a bit yum in a seriously hot kind of way. :)P *:)*

I think we have three DW series playing on pay-tv atm. Amy, just once a week, Rose and DT four or five episodes a week, and back to back Tom Bakers about 3 or 4 times a week.

Can't keep track there's so many. :T

Decided to concentrate on Amy. :)P  :)P *:)* :)P 8) :)P  :)P

And the quote from an article announcing Karen Gillam as the new "companion".

And a generation of little boys will want them to be her too."

Damn' fat fingers. :x
Who put the "M" and the "N" so close together?

That's Gillan, not Gillam.

Or maybe that's just an excuse to post another pic. *:)* :)P

Bad news, fishy - Amy will be leaving Who for good midway through next season. :( *:|*

House: Insensitive. A 16 year old girl who can't feel any pain falls sick in this excellent episode that has one of the series' most memorable and skin-crawling denouements, as House cuts her open and pulls a 16 foot tapeworm out of her abdomen! There was a case like this in the news a few months back, a couple who had the same thing happen to them, for the same reason - eating fish they'd caught themselves, which had tapeworm eggs in them.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :r

"Gillan joins Not Another Happy Ending
By Kieron Moore– August 2, 2011

With her role as Amy Pond in the BBC’s revived series of Doctor Who having propelled Karen Gillan from unknown to national star in a matter of two years, it’s no surprise that the Scottish actress is soon to make her big screen debut. Alongside Black Death‘s Emun Elliott, a winner of the mildly prestigious 2009 Screen Stars of Tomorrow, she is set to star in Crush director John McKay’s Scottish indie comedy Not Another Happy Ending.

Gillan plays an eccentric and successful novelist who draws upon her misery to create immensely popular yet miserable fiction. Unfortunately, her success brings happiness, resulting in a serious case of writer’s block. Her publisher (Elliott) kindly resolves to solve this problem by making her life a misery, but – oh, no! – falls in love with her. Nothing revolutionary plot-wise then, but there’s no reason this shouldn’t turn out to be a fun and enjoyable comedy.

“We have two of the newest, hottest, sexiest pair of lead actors out of Scotland. Just right for the kind of quirky, romantic indie movie Not Another Happy Ending is set to be,” said McKay.

With a script from David Solomoms, production on Not Another Happy Ending is planned for late 2011 and early 2012."

Cool. :)P

Doctor Who - Revelation of the Daleks. Dark, twisted, macabre, with an equally macabre sense of humour, and a gallery of grotesque characters brought to life by some terrific actors. Top marks to Terry Molloy as a particularly oily Davros, Eleanor Bron as the scheming Kara, and Clive Swift as the preening, pervy Jobel. Top stuff.

Miss Marple - A Pocketful of Rye. Another great Joan Hickson classic. The murder of the maid is particularly disturbing.

Doctor Who Xmas special. Didn't like it much, bit dull and twee for my taste. Best bit was the end, with Amy and Rory. I love that Amy opens the door with a water pistol in case of Christmas carollers!
