I've been out driving today. We went past a place that said ''Daisy Funeral Services'' . Whaaaat! Is that for real? Who's Daisy, the woman in charge? No, my friend says, it must come from the saying ''pushing up daisies'' like when you're dead  We laffed so much I nearly drove the van into a tree and killed us :W I've checked it out. It's a real name. May have some connection with an Oxfordshire company called 'Colourful Coffins' This is a pic.

She's the managing director. Her name is Mary, not Daisy. The daisy logo features on all their coffins. Comforting to know that. *:|* I deffo want to book mine in advance :P I wonder if they do print your own labels? I must ask Sam to see if it can be arranged. 8)

Lord PERCY and Yours Truly, Count MOUNT, were overheard to say, in their cups at the CARLTON Club, that the beastly monopolies of the Undertaker, who buys a coffin for some Fifty Guineas and dispenseth it, with many a grave Shibboleth or Platitude, for Two or Three Thousand to the unsuspecting Mourners, ought to be challenged by a range of simple but Tastefully-Appointed disposable Coffins in highly-inflammable materials; and to observe that the Crematorium is no Respecter of fine Pinewoods, even if such [due to what they called the Diabolical Artifices of the Mortician's trade] should actually arrive at the Furnaces's mouth, and not be artfully substituted at the Last.
