Ima not against anyone having a bit of a laff, you guys, but maybe some of these posts could be edited after a while, when they've been aired. A ribald laff is OK, and Ima sure would be appreciated by both Lex and Bex, and I know I have contributed to this. The humour is mostly what would be considered acceptable in UK or Australia, and as our only regular poster in Sweden, I have to assume Magnus gives us a benchmark as to what is considered acceptable in Sweden. But I'm reckoning a little care and forethought might also be applied sometimes. I don't mind a tease but if I see posts that specifically denigrate female same-sex relationships, rather than celebrate with a little humour, I have to wonder how far removed this is from the values of the FA/SML film?

Bex did actually have a younger sister who died while young. OK, OK, I'm sure not everyone knew that. It was undoubtedly a major influence on her future career decision to become a doctor.

If I were Bex, and I did happenchance upon this site. I would not just ignore it, but be launching legal action against Mr Ian. *bakes cake with file in it*

I know the lack of official recognition is frustrating, but I think we should be sensitive to what we know. We have all been happy to take the piss out of Markus as a character, but NOT the late Stefan as a person or actor.

Sometimes the boundaries between Agnes/Rebecka and Elin/Alexandra, do get a bit blurred. The Magnus comment is specifically about Bex (the person) rather than Agnes (the character). Bex is a married woman, with three kids, in a professional career. I know Alex has always been more publicly ambivalent about her orientation. A lot of photographic evidence shows she is someone who enjoys, and gets! a lot of attention from other females. That does not turn her into some kinda raging bull dyke. I turn the question around. Even as a guy, wouldn't you feel flattered to know so many people, male and female, find you attractive?

Claudia is still very much alive and well, it's just that she changed her hair colour from blonde to brunette.
So "she dyed her hair", not "she died her hair"......

Unfortunately those like me with the intellect of a newt, have trouble expressing ourselves in an "appropriate" manner.
Perhaps we need to just post things of which our mothers would approve.

I would put into this category posts which may be derogatory to same sex relationships.
There should be zero tolerance to any homophobia, even when unintended.

We all came here because we fell in love with a very special film and we should be mindful that we do nothing to cheapen the values of it, or the people involved in making it.

Perhaps you and Ian could ensure removal of all inappropriate posts.

If the majority here don't want it, though, then you will probably have to cut it out, Magnus. I don't really see the need for it, to be honest. I think I maybe got crossed wires on this one. I'm not picking on anyone in particular. I've overstepped the mark myself sometimes, and posted stuff that on reflection wasn't such a great idea. Everyone has their own standards and valuable contributions to make. I was referring to the rather edgy tit and bum + comments that comes up occasionally and seems a little left-field. I know the intention is not to appear homophobic but sometimes it appears to have an odd slant.

I just would personally prefer that we didn't have a lot of salacious porno t&b unrelated to the site theme and characters. I think it may give a confusing impression to any casual visitor I believe anyone checking out this site after seeing the film would be stunned by the treasure trove of pics and writing available here. It would be a pity to undermine that good impression.

I may just have to post pix of boys kissing.

For information, it IS the case that Rebecka had a younger sister who died in childhood. She doesn't like to dwell on it, but it came up in one of the newspaper interview articles I read.
