After a nailbiting last minut thriller, Norways national handball ladies just won the Olympic final! 8)
I've been up and down the couch throughout the match, and sooo happy and proud of our girls! *:)* *:)* *:)*

Need to go out and get some fresh air now, and then maybe a drink :D

Yay Norway. *:)*
I've been loving the Olympics, but why do they have to put them on in the middle of the night.  Image

The fact that I've re-Flick'd a couple of my early mix dvds to put a bit of Emma in there.

I do have other reasons, too.

So. Please tell me what you think of this. It's a very old joke re-framed by me.

I attempted to post it to Seikes thread, because he is feeling very ''down in the dumps'' Just an attempt to cheer him up. The Facebook fascists have repeatedly refused me permission to post.

It isn't anti-Catholic, nor anti-Protestant. it's just a fucking weak joke FFS.

Here’s a really bad joke. Seike, Yohio, and Kai visit the Vatican to promote Seremedy. When they arrive, they call into the nearest bar. The Italian barman says: ‘What is your wish?’ Yohio says ‘I’ll have a cranberry juice.’ Kai (not to be outdone) says ‘I’ll have a pint of Guinness!’ Seike (not to be outdone) shouts ‘I’ll have a pint of whatever his Holiness the Pope drinks!’ The barman says ‘He usually drinks Crème de Menthe.’ Seike says ‘then I’ll have a pint of that!’ Next day, Yohio and Kai slap Seike hard to wake him from his hangover. Seike looks up, half-dead. He says ‘Fy fan! No wonder they have to carry the Pope round on a chair! Boom-boom! :D

Oh dear. That's so bad it's actually good.  _O^

One of the benefits of pay TV is having 8 channels of Olympics, so in true Rupert style everything gets repeated while we're awake and GB sleeps.
So I watched a repeat of the Women's Handball gold medal match, and Dahls, you were spot on. What an exciting match. Great celebrations at the end too and just as nice to see Montenegro celebrate its silver medal. They certainly lost no fans with such a positive display of joy at their achievement.
Wish there were more sports with matches like that one. *:)*

Discovering that Yohio's real birth name is Yohio (although spelled slightly differently in Swedish).

Facebook fascists sounds about right, snappo...every time I think about subscribing, I hear something like this. The old joke is funny, and harmless, and no-one in their right mind would censor it.

It's a drag, because I could really use something like Facebook, to communicate with lost-track-of friends and family. What other options are there?

A very odd dream I had last night which Emma popped up in for about five seconds. Nothing amazing, but it made me wake up with a smile nonetheless. :D
