I haven't against the Poles nothing (except that Russians after the 2nd World War, added for Poles piece of our territory that was to be ours ), but what is happening lately is horror and terror! Poland is becoming a big exporter mainly for us, but the quality of their products could be compared to the non-quality products from China. By our market economy, we cut ourselves under us branch. Instead to we are making do by themselves with our own products and our Czech firms, from here we export quality and non-quality buying. Firms are selling to foreign investors, some fields, meadows, forests today have either Germans or Austrians, etc. For example, instead to we have of our apricots (grown here) make ourselves a jam, so we sell it to Austria, where they make a jam and then we'll buy it back in a supermarkets as a jam from Austria, though it is from the Czech apricots...

Annoying is not the right word.
I know I've been a bit "all over the place" this last week, It's been a very stressful time.

A relative and dear friend lost a painful battle with illness he could never win.
So sad for his wife and kids but at last he is at peace.

A friend is moving house and I'm helping lug things around.
(Too much like w*rk for my liking)

And tomorrow I'm hosting a birthday party for a 5 year old girl.
How do I ever get into situations like that.
Naaa. At least that one will be fun.

So I might recover in time for Monday at the Forum. Hopefully.

My printer. Burned another mix dvd today, wanted to print a cover for it. Printer offline. Realised the lead wasn't in. Put it in. Printer still offline. Realised the lead was in the wrong place on the computer (first time I've used it since the move). Put it in the right one. Printer online. Yay! Print it.

All f****d up because now it's decided to run out of black ink.

Technology is both great and helpful, guys, but its an annoyance to realise how dependent you've become of it.

Just got back from a few days at a friends cabin without internet or electricity. The first couple of days went fine, but all I wanted the last day was to get home and watch a film, or sit in front of the pc.


Now how did it go hosting the childrens birthdayparty? not too much vomiting I hope

They loved it.

I didn't think such things existed any more.
Sounds strange now that we've become so dependant on technology to entertain ourselves.

Naa, its pretty common to have no electricity in peoples cabin, many feel its half the point. To get away from everyday stress and live more primitive up in the mounten or by the lake for a weekend or so.
The entertainment is the wonderful silence, or just the company of eachothers. Usually with a case of beer

The rediscovered Who ep of Galaxy 4 to be released on dvd next year...on a re-release of The Aztecs. Meaning we have to rebuy a story we've already got to get to see that one ep. Shameless.

The sheer stupidity of bureaucracy.

I had work done at the SA Dental Service in August prior to moving to Queensland. The last appointment was the week before - and everyone was aware that I was leaving the state the following week - and I waited 20 minutes after for staff to calculate exactly how much I owed, went to the bank and then went back again to pay in full, after which I was told my account would be closed.

So it's something of a surprise nearly 2 months later to get a letter redirected to Queensland claiming I owe them $18.50 and could I please drop by the clinic to pay it.

Nothing annoys me...not slack beaurocracy, not the dole introducing swingeing benefit 'sanctions' if you don't jump through enough hoops...not the housing trust installing a new magnetic 'security' door to our block, that I don't have an electronic key for...not the slow drip [£1 a day] of the bank's vampirism now I'm in overdraft [because of months of dole fuckabout]...none of it bothers me in the least...I am perfectly calm.

Just remember that it's healty to let out a little steam once in awhile, in smaller portions... Before it boils over, and you end like Michael Douglas in the film Falling Down
