I get horrified too, just at the mere prospect of being Michael Douglas. :T :P

I suppose there's a little bit of Spartacus in all of us...

Could be worse.

Could be MICHAEL DOUGLAS.

Does everyone know the story about Joel Douglas, who tried to hack it as a stand-up comedian. He flopped. He was given a rough time by a London audience, heckling and joshing. He halted his act mid-way then declared 'You can't do this to me, I am the son of Kirk Douglas!'' Some wag in the audience got up and shouted back 'No! I am the son of Kirk Douglas'. He was followed by a whole wave of imitators in the audience, all declaring the same thing. :D

Apologies on advance, I just need to get this out of my system

Every year. Every damn year
'
When the first fall of snow in winter lies down, and our roads becomes icey and sloppy, it's always bloody chaos in the traffic.
I spent 3 hours getting home, from what is usually a 20 min drive.
People keep postponing the required and mandatory changing from summer to winter tires, even though the bit early snowfall has been called upon by all tabloids for weeks. With summer tires on winter conditions, it's bound to be accidents and chaos, but people never ever learn.

Why are people such imbeciles? :-?

Sorry, hope you are'nt too bothered about my whining.
Need to get a good night sleep now, and restore my fate in humanity...

It's the same in England, Dahls, nobody [and most especially the responsible transport authorities] is ever ready for severe weather, despite it having happened the previous year[s]...it isn't 'whining' to be aggrieved that your 20m commute has become 3 hours, surely...? That's no kind of fun.

Hope you're safe home [at last!], and have a warming glass close to hand.
