They probably only cover it slightly over here because a norwegian girl is one of their contestants anyway :P

A tv station in America got hijacked by hackers who broadcast an audio message to viewers that the bodies of the recently dead were rising from their graves and attacking the living.

The police actually got several worried calls by people who believed it was real.

 :T

Mindless good fun!
Nice to see some hackers just practising fine humour, and not just stealing bankaccounts ecc.
Wonder if the tv station saw the the humour in it though. :P

Any links to the article?

Hi everyone :) *:)* Just a quick report back from me. It's exactly two weeks since I set of for Sweden via Denmark. At that point our YOHIO Fansite had 360 followers, after two months of VERY hard slog. We thought that was about the peak of what we could achieve. In that weekend things went ballistic. We went to the Melodifestivalen. A really great time *:)* We kept feeding back pix and news feeds on the internet. Best of all, on the Sunday we got to meet YOHIO, his Dad, members of his support band, friends and professional staff. Really wonderful ppl, no snobbery at all. :D by the time I got back to the UK, our numbers had near doubled to 860. Since then we have had a personal recommendation by YOHIO on his own site. Our fan-numbers have now rocketed to over 1,360. It is still like a dream. A lot of hard work, postings and translations, trying to keep up with a massive fan-base. So, about 100 times more than the active fan-base of FA/SML. So I hope you will understand if I don't have so much time in here to give. :( Somehow I hope to provide a bridge with SML/FA. On analaysis about 80% of our fanbase are girls, 55% are aged 13 - 17. Although we post in English, about a third of our fans are in Sweden. Ima not sure how to make the link yet, but it WILL happen. Like I have said before, YOHIO is the representation of what SML/FA was all about. Oddly enough a guy rather than a girl. Same issues etc. A new generation needing to connect and evaluate societies options. Developing self-confidence when you get beaten down. I leave you with a personal photo of Patrick meeting YOHIO. Kinda says it all. :)

Excellent stuff Snaps, glad it went so well in Sweden.
Great that the site seems to be going ballistic too. That's gotta help with his Eurovision 2013 campaign.
Any sign of the Japanese kids coming on board yet? That'd really send it over the top. *:)*

And if you can find a way to connect it with FÅ even I'd worship you forever. _O_ :-P

Hi guys! Thanks. I am running round like a blue-arsed fly atm. *:)* times were when I had to resort to the old trick of doing a Trivia quiz to keep the site visible. Now i am overwhelmed with news stories, TV interviews, photos, videos etc. Can barely keep pace with the translations. My grasp of Swedish has increased about 500%. The fans are truly international. not as many in Japan as you might think because FB isnt so well-established there. Patrick, and Ewelina (our Swedish contact) are running a parallel service on Twitter. but other Pacific rim countries yes. Also strong following in Germany, and USA and perhaps most surprising (which we did already know with Seremedy) a huge cluster in Brazil / Mexico / Colombia etc. and even, yes Australia! We have over 1,400 followers now (including YOHIO's Pappa :D ). Sadly we have now reached the point where the haters and homophobes are trying to fly in under the radar  and post nasty comments, so that is almost a job in itself, checking comments made and deleting the occasional asshole. :T Although Eurovision is considered passe in the UK it is still a BIG DEAL in Sweden, whihc has won in recent years and is the host country for this year. Everyone in Sweden has an opinion. Would love to know who Bex and Lex are rooting for 8) Not sure we can afford to get to Stockholm for the Swedish final in March. My insurance money for the house-fire hasn't come through yet  I would like to combine it with a visit to certain other shrines in STHLM. (any chance of a bunk-up Lex and Bex?) Ticket prices for Karlskrona were ridiculous (about £80 each) We are hoping YOHIO will win through so we can go to the actual Eurovision final in Malmo in May, which is a hop skip and jump over the Oresund bridge from Copenhagen. Maybe if we can't afford a hotel Lukas will put us up for the night, as that's his home-town :? :T It's really good that we have people on the inside track with direct access to YOHIO. We get to know stuff. Not a party invite yet but heading that way. It would be good if this site had a link person to at least Lex after you guys have done sooo much chastely promoting her career like innocent choirboys :DDDDDD

Go Snapsie...

Zoom! Zoom! Zoom!

8)

Hmmm...do I see Yohio guesting on the Big Bang theory, is he beguiling the goggling masses with killer frock guitar and hot new Britishisms...? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-19929249

Or is it just a longing, wistful dream?

for the release of ''Our Story'' his last single in English YOHIO ''manned'' up his image quite a lot. I was pleased to see a return to more androgyne form in his performance in Melo and for the promo of ''Heartbreak Hotel''

YOHIO on Big Bang Theory, I like it more and more... Sheldon is charmed, but his nose is also slightly out of joint at this hyperintelligent, superpolite but also very firm wunderkind. Leonard is suspicious, puzzled and quizzical. Wolowitz thinks he is actually a girl, and goes all fluttery. Raj has seen plenty of Kali-worshippers before, it's no big deal, hi man. The women [of all ages] immediately go all squealy and weird, except for Penny, who to her own embarrassment keeps finding herself asking YOHIO if he's getting enough...no, I mean sleep, and to eat, and far enough away from the chemicals; and is he really going out in a tough neighbourhood, dressed like that...and is there anyone, you know, looking after him...?

Ima sorry Dave but your last remarks were kinda way over my tiny pointed head. I am just reporting back here out of respect for my Australian mentors. O-) I don’t mind anyone taking the piss outta me personally. I deserve it. I expect it.

But please don’t take a poke at YOHIO. I know, maybe from what you have previously said, that you have a bit more of a problem with male challengers to accepted cultural norms, than from females. *:|*

I am managing a database here of over 1,400 active fans. He not only has haters and phobes to contend with, but has actually been sent death threats. :( I don’t have the time nor the inclination to individually respond to (I am sure) well-intended satirical pokes.

I will (maybe) report back sometime in March. Till then I wish you all well. :W

Really amazing to read about your adventures and accomplishments, you seem to have you're hands full lately!
Kudos ^O^

Wouldn't dream of it, I admire (we all I think) his talent and style, not at least all the inspiration he brings to fans and audience.
Sincerely hope he kills it in the final, so the rest of Europe can experience his preformence. :)
