Just got around seing it last night, and I liked it too, but it could have been even better with a stronger story perhaps?
Some parts just felt a bit underwritten, I don't really know how to put my finger on it.
A couple of scenes seems to go nowhere, which makes them feel a little uninteresting, especially in the second part.
The high point of Blondie was, like you said (sort of), the dynamic between the characters. They work great together all four of them, the atmosphere within the family, on both darker and loveing moments, is very authentic.
And in this sort of chamber drama, that's what's most important anyway.
Beautiful cinematography was also a big plus.
All in all I truly enjoyed it, despite some flaws, and will probably watch it again in not too long.
